Sweet Greek — Restaurant in Melbourne

Seriously disappointed with the service. I took the time to pre-order a list of desserts a few days ago just to make sure that I can have what I wanted today. The same staff that served me today took my order a few days ago. It's funny enough that when I arrived to pick up my order no one wants to tell me that they've missed my order. The staff asked me twice if I was willing to change some items to another because those items were sold out. I asked them why do I need to change my order when I've already ordered it a few days ago and finally she told me that the kitchen didn't receive my order because they don't have the receipt. The funniest thing about this all is when I asked why didn't they have the receipt, the staff said "because you took the receipt." Like seriously, I asked for the receipt after the payment and you simply couldn't print another receipt for the kitchen?? So now it's my fault that I don't have my order because I took the receipt???? And I don't understand why couldn't they just pack my order again in the kitchen when they found out that they've missed it. I got everything from the order in the end as I only wanted those items that I've ordered and guess what? The kitchen has all the dessert items...

I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, before putting in a very specific request and order. Not only am I not from Melbourne, but it was also Greek Easter weekend. I sent through an email with an idea I had in mind to surprise someone very special to me, over the Greek Easter weekend. Immediately your staff made contact and helped me construct the most (from what I hear) amazing hamper, filled with all the delicious things your menu has on offer. Although your delivery service wasn't running due to the festivities, your lovely staff wasted no time in coming up with alternative options for me, reassuring me that my surprise would see the light of day. And it did. On time, neatly packaged, with a note in tow, ready to be enjoyed by all those important. For some people, the importance of sending and receiving food, might not be very significant. However to those who rely on others to see their vision, and carry out a gesture they aren't able to carry out themselves, it means everything. The staff are racist and discriminatroy. Cannot believe they have 4.3 stars on Google reviews.

Food was okay but the service was horrendous to say the least- not even worth a single star. Upon entry, you are not even given a smile or a word of greeting. If you are not white.

Not only do they serve you after all the other white customers, they even have the audacity to drink water. Deliberately slow while maintaining eye contact, right before serving you. Even if you are only buying one, over-priced, item on card and they see that.

I was initially planning to buy more food but was so turned off by the quality of the service that I had nausea at the mere thought of increasing their profit.

I thought the White Australia Policy had been abolished in the 70s but clearly these people have not moved on since then.
