A classy Sri Lankan fusion fine dining experience when in Noosa! The elegantly interior decorated restaurant is located down the famous Hasting Steet, just 4 mins walk from the Noosa main beach. The staff are extremely customer focused and friendly. We were served by Hannah who made our dining experience a pleasant one. As per recommendation by many and the staff, we started off with their signature sourdough bread with a beautifully cooked coconut butter (which is their take on the traditional sri Lankan coconut Sambol) and Australian olive oil. Its a must have. We also had the hot butter cuttlefish and one of the best prawn dishes we've had yet, the black pepper king prawn. Even though the prawn was part of the starters, we had a couple of it with our main course rice. For mains we had the gunpowder slow cooked beef ribs, which was so tender and cooked to perfection and another of their signature dishes, The Sri Lankan Snapper curry which is a pan fried snapper with an amazing Sri Lankan curry sauce, rice and raita. The dish was packed with flavours and so nostalgic which took us back to Sri Lanka. Finally to wrap up we had the Chocolate biscuits pudding, which we totally recommend to have! We thank all the staff and speacilly the Chef Peter Kuruvita for visiting us at our table despite being busy in the kitchen. Such a gentleman! We wish the restaurant all the best and we will definitely visit again!

Have great memories of eating here pre covid when it was a Peter Kuruvita venue. It’s bright and airy with lots of white and a good vibe. It was hard to find a seat and a little ‘fend for yourself’ by making you order and pay at the bar. We ordered and got our drinks but the only thing delivered to our table was a bowl of water with lemon in it to clean your fingers after peeling prawns. After 25 minutes and with no acknowledgement from staff who kept trying to remove the bowl of water - we asked where our food was. Were told it’s a 20 minute wait (which had well and truly passed) and we were a bit over it by this stage. Briony saved the day by acknowledging the delay and our wait, and offering us a drink on the house. When the food finally did come, it was top notch. The salt and pepper calamari was light and popping while the margarita with burrata had a light and chewy dough and was perfect. The king prawns hit the spot and were plentiful for $35 although they’re served with a boring aioli and 4 pieces of toasted slice bread, lol. Surely the kitchen could come up with something a little more creative than the aioli and toasted sliced bread!? Credit to Briony for swinging things back to positive - she’s a true professional!

Just impeccable! The food and service here is phenomenal. Considering the variety and prices, this would have to be best restaurant in all of Noosa. We had a very generous serving of nachos, steak, spaghetti bolognese and the piece de resistance: the spanner crab carbonara. Their watermelon sour cocktail is also a must! The food and drinks were so good, that we had to dine here two nights running. The staff were also extremely accommodating. Nothing was ever too much of an ask. Needing more sauce? Sure! Need extra parmesan? Sure! Need extra Salsa? Sure! A big thank you to all of the staff, especially Sophie and Phil who were genuinely warm and charming. On our second night dining here, the occasion being for my mother's Birthday, Phil extended himself by offering her a complimentary mocktail as she does not drink alcohol. It was absolutely delicious and made her night (which made up for all of the alcohol she had been missing out on her whole life). Our experiences definitely mirror the quality and service we received upon staying at the Sofitel with their buffet breakfasts at the same Noosa Beach House. We will definitely be back next time we are in Noosa.

My partner and I are honeymooning in Noosa, we booked the Noosa beach house some time ago and were looking forward to dining here. As it was our last night in Noosa, we made an early dinner booking (6:30pm) to ensure we would have enough time to go back to the resort and pack before bed. We had researched the menu before arriving at the restaurant so that we could order our entire meal straight away (2 pieces of sourdough- starter , cured meat - entree, 2 cocktails, 2 wagyu steaks medium, a side of green beans and chocolate lovers dessert to share). We are very jovial characters and kept ourselves in high spirits, waiting 30 mins for the sourdough and cured meat, and cocktails. During our initial 30 min wait, we noticed one of our wine glasses was soiled and my water glass had a piece of someone else’s dinner floating in it perhaps? We asked for a new wine glass and water. We received a new water glass, however, the wine glass never arrived - so we ordered only one glass of Pinot noir to accompany the steaks, as the second glass never arrived back to us. Our dining experience continued to plummet from this point onwards, we continued to wait for the wagyu steaks. We noticed diners who had been seated more than 30 mins after us had already received their dinners. A waiter, cooper, had informed us that our steaks were coming and apologised for the wait. We continued to wait, another gentleman, Treva, approached us to assure us the steaks were coming and provided us both with a glass of veuve to apologise for the wait. However, we weren’t after more alcohol, I had a full glass of red at the table as I had been saving it to pair with the steak. My partner was saving her mango cocktail for her dessert. From the time we ordered the steaks, to receiving them we had waited 2 hours, by this point we had almost surpassed the hunger stage. However, we love wagyu, we consume wagyu frequently and were positive they would be worth the wait, we were so wrong. The steaks arrived and we have never been so disappointed. We are not convinced the “wagyu sirloin” were wagyu at all. Wagyu only requires minimal salt and pepper for seasoning, as it naturally has a buttery and creamy flavour due to its marbling. Our steaks had no marbling at all (surprising for a grade 5 steak), they were not tender as you would expect from wagyu and were over salted. As we had ordered dessert at the beginning of the night with the rest of our meal we assumed our dessert would be out shortly following the mains. We were approached by Treva who provided us a dessert menu (for context, Treva took our initial order and was aware that we had requested the chocolate lovers dessert to share) he had offered us desserts on the house. We were surprised that we had been handed the dessert menu, as we had made our selection hours ago and it meant we would have to wait again. We were done waiting, we needed to get back home and pack. Rather than waiting to be approached by another waiter to request the bill, we headed up to the counter to pay our bill. Treva provided us with the bill, we reviewed the receipt and he had removed the “Pinot noir” off the bill, it was on the house. We weren’t satisfied with this outcome at all. My partner had told Treva she didn’t consume her frozen mango cocktail as she has been saving it for dessert, it had completely melted by the time our mains arrived and was no longer worth consuming. I hadn’t consumed my Pinot as I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy it leisurely with the steak, as we quickly ate the mediocre steaks and needed to head home. Treva removed the mango cocktail off the bill. What a terrible dining experience to end our Noosa...

We have eaten here on several occasions and never been able to fault the food. It is interesting, tasty, imaginative and well presented. If only the same could be said for the wait staff. Whilst the kitchen appears to run like a well oiled machine, the front of house appears to be a shambles, poorly organised, lacking supervision and direction, and what appeared to be new staff given little or no support.

Admittedly it was a busy night, but when our party of five arrived there were two other groups waiting to be seated and no one staffing the reception desk. Ten minutes on and two more groups of diners before anyone appeared!

When we were eventually seated our drink orders were taken but it was almost 15 minutes before the ordered bottle of wine appeared. In the interim I saw the bottle and assorted glasses pass our table at leasr three times. This theme was repeated throughout the entire evening.

There appeared to be no dedicated somelier or drink attendants and communication between food and beverage staff was nonexistent.

In summary, beautiful food but a dining experience spoiled by poor management. The wait staff were obviously trying their hardest to do a difficult job with little top cover. As a local I find it disappointing to bring interstate guests to restaurant of this calibre, that could be so much better. I would hesitate to return or recommend it to others.

Competition on the local scene is intensifying and the standard of restaurants in the area continues to improve. Beach house Restaurant please lift you game, or sadly we and many other locals I suggest, will vote...

Absolutely AWESOME! My partner and I did the breakfast buffet en route from Bundaberg to Brisbane, and it truly was one of the most memorable eating experiences of my LIFE!

Fabulous setting and decor which adds to the whole ambiance and really compliments the style of food there.

Staff were absolutely awesome - professional and personable and very attentive - that ALWAYS leaves a good taste in your mouth IMO. Gave you the feeling of being in an upmarket restaurant but without the associated guilt that can come with filling your boots 🤭

The food... OH THE FOOD!! Im from Sydney and am already planning my next weekend getaway to come back! A great blend of healthy breakfast goodies with your standard delicious treats we all know and love at a good buffet - fresh pastries, cereals, fruits, freshly squeezed juices and smoothies - A COFFEE CART MAKING BARISTA MADE COFFEE TO ORDER!!! 😱

Smoke salmon, prosciutto, cheeses, bircher mueslis, chia pudding pots, various breads,

The eggs, the crepes, the bacon... the creamed mushrooms - ALL OF IT! Honestly can’t shut up about it (if you couldn’t already tell).

Would give 7 stars, but only 5 available 😓

Head Chef Peter who was on the egg station is a real pro - makes a WICKED omelette, poached eggs like no body’s business, and does the most DELECTABLE Nutella crepes! Made me feel very welcome, even on my 6th trip back for crepes 😏 (I had just finished a bodybuilding show - so sew me).

Will CERTAINLY be coming...
