Can I start with the pizza was delicious because that’s where it ends. I’m so disappointed, we arrived after looking at the menu online to discover the website is outdated and they now only do pizzas, that’s ok, we can all have pizza, no problem. We order our pizzas, they have alcohol bottles for decoration but no alcohol, that’s fine, byo we can go to the bottle shop down the other end of the shops, that’s ok. I then ask about soft drinks, they say we only have coke and Coke Zero, so I ask if we can grab a few drinks out of our fridge in the car because we don’t drink either of 2 soft drinks on offer, she says no problem, very polite young lady. All good, we are all happy, then the pizzas arrive, on the arms of the rudest lady in the service industry I have ever encountered, and I’m in the service industry myself. She tells us they are not a byo drink restaurant, only alcohol. When I try to explain that we asked first she talked over me and blamed it on the “junior” in training and will have words with her. If I hadn’t already ordered and paid for my pizza, I would have left, she was so rude in her delivery. We are on holidays and it was our last night in Port Macquarie and you don’t have to worry, we won’t be back with our own drinks. BEST RESTAURANT EVER!! I kid you not, my wife and I have not been to a better restaurant in our lives. I wish I could give more stars!! We went here in April on our last night holidaying in Port Macquarie. The woman (owner) that served us was incredible and kind. She served us almost immediately and made sure we had table water and menus. Despite it being 30 minutes until closing, she gave us as much time as we needed to decide on food. We ordered our food and took in the restaurant environment. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting, and the lighting and design were so beautiful. The whole place felt like a scene out of friends. There were different themed spaces within the restaurant which was unique and fun. There is a chill friends style nook with a couple of classic big lounges, a lovely simple main dining space with a cute corner incorporated. We barely waited 5 minutes for the entree, the bruschetta. Wow!! So yum - fresh and soft. We then had the Rosemary and Lamb pizza as well as the Ham and Pineapple. They both were delicious with the Lamb one offering a rich and tasty flavour and the Ham and Pineapple giving a fresh burst of life. We were then served by a boy who was very polite and helpful.
