Not a bad bar, drinks were good (except for the harambe breakfast juice), but was especially disappointed when leaving front bar to utilise toilet facilities from central hallway and refused entry back to the front bar with our possesions as at capacity. The impression was for us to drink in another area. Discussion with security ensued, and although consulted with bar staff to allow re-entry from tolieting facilities, they refused re-entry of the ~5 that had occured in the interim of that discussion. Security described covid rules as the limiting factor for this movement, though also stood against a wall in a hallway approximately 1.2m in width when allowing movement of patrons past them. Had a party in the bar at the back. Really great venue, lots of space for our guests. The food was amazing. Everyone was commenting at the party how great this food actually was. The bartenders were really friendly. I believe it was Bo, Bo helped us set up the area in the afternoon, very helpful with moving what things we could move, and making space for us to put them. Rude Bartender, sarcastic and unreasonable! Very sloppy and pricey for what it is! Would go back but the bartender made us definitely not want to return to this venue! If you cannot deal with the general public in the hospitality industry then you definitely shouldn’t be behind the bar let alone working with people and customer service, my wife and I left disgusted and very disappointed.
