Went to get some crepes for dessert only to be told for the second time they are not making crepes at 8:40pm. The first time we were told they don’t do crepes after 9pm so we went at 8:40pm this time to make sure we didn’t miss out. The service from the young lady service was horrendous!! Over my years of experiencing customer service this was by far the worst.. we ordered our sundae and double scoop ice cream and we were the only people in line, whilst the staff member servicing us took our order she gave us our double scoop and told us we had to wait now because another 6 people lined up behind us, she was throwing the ice cream containers back into the freezer. We asked why we had to wait for the sundae to which she replied well there is other customers behind you now, my response was “we are also paying customers and we have ordered ours first” she began to say they are short staffed and we have to wait.. When she was challenged on the fact that her service was unacceptable she yelled “step away from my counter” we left with two double scoop ice creams to save her the hassle of making our one sundae which we initially ordered.. I rate this place 1 star only for the stair way to heaven ice cream as it was tasteful however the service was utterly bitter and we will never return.. disrespect at its finest!!! Highly recommend you to get a maccas ice cream to save you the disappointment of rude...

We went to place an order at checkers pizza, and they told us to go next door to be served. We ordered our meal and waited 30mins, then checked upon our meal and was told us it was another 20min wait for the drinks. After waiting 45mins another customer, advised us to pick up our food from checkers pizza. No employees communicated this, extending our wait. After waiting an HOUR the drinks were ready, only to find that they made the wrong drink. I then waited 5mins for them to remake it. Only then did they offer a large size. This is very unacceptable, no one should wait this long for 2 meals ( 1 breaky burger and coffee). There was also army personnel and emergency crew waiting long periods of time for their meals too. I understand that you are flat out, however you need to get yourselves organised and have better communication between customers and staff. I often go to hopscotch as the ice cream is always good and tonight (09/10/23) at 9:15ish, my brother and I got ice cream. The girl who served us was lovely and working really hard mopping the floors whilst her manager shouted at her in front of costumers telling her that if she doesn’t finish before 10, that she (the manager) will leave and leave her (the girl) by herself to finish. When I went back up to get an ice cream container to bring home, the girl was continuing to clean the floors whilst her manager lay on the bench next to the store, on a FaceTime call, smoking a cigarette, dropping the ashes on the wooden table. This manager is abusing her power as a ‘higher up’ and as a customer, I felt really uncomfortable being witness to this abuse and felt terribly sorry for the young girl.
