BARBERT PIZZA CO — Restaurant in Sydney

Been coming to Barbert’s for a number of years now and just realised I hadn’t left a google review 🤦🏻‍♂️

Easily some of the best pizzas going on the Northern Beaches tucked away up in Elanora Heights. If you haven’t been you need to add Barbert Pizza Co to your list of restaurants to visit asap.

Josie has the front of houses running like a well oiled machine and most nights you should be able to find Heath working the pizza oven knocking out delicious pizza after delicious pizza.

Plenty of spaces to sit both indoors and out (we tend to sit outside when eating in as it’s nice and chilled out there) and they can cater for small and big groups.

Awesome to see they have their own beer taps too supporting local independent craft breweries with recently adding a guest tap to the mix with a mix of seasonal brews planned to feature on tap.

Great to see a young, energetic couple having a crack and doing a damn fine job of it 👏🏻

Food was nice. The lady who I dealt with was quite pleasant. The only downside was the chef's unprofessional manner. I ordered the food at 6.25 and was told it would be ready in 20-25 minutes. I arrived at 6.45 so I expected around a 5 minute wait, it was around 7.05 when I got the food which was fine, a minor inconvenience at most. The lady handed me my food and apologised for the wait and I said that was fine and thanks and as I turned the corner I heard the chef yell right across the restaurant so loud I could hear it from up the road "he was only waiting 5 minutes, that Nigel one" obviously in response to the waitress apologising for the wait. It created the false illusion to the customers waiting that I was causing problems when in reality the 20 minutes I was waiting I had just stood there on my phone silently. Despite the chef's unprofessional manner, the place is nice and other staff were pleasant.

Wow , what a cool pizzeria this is & they back up that cool factor with the hottest pizza on the beaches crispy arancini , try the new garlic cheese pizza for an entree , we followed with a seafood linguine that was tasty & garlicky with a wonderful squeeze of lemon & a truffled mushroom pizza 🍕 that was to die for ….❤️❤️❤️oh & I nearly forgot to mention the sensational Margherita we had on arrival ….
