Read moreBefore we were seated, we were told there is only bbq left. So we said ok, we'll eat bbq for dinner.
We were given a table and was told to scan the QR code. We haven't had the chance to look at the menu, another server came and asked "are you ordering bbq?"
We ordered our food and was given a bowl of steamed egg as a complimentary dish, which was nice.
The server was constantly removing the plates at a very efficient pace and seems to be rushing us.
She asked if she can remove the charcoal from the bbq while we were still cooking the meat (still red on the side). We were dumbstruck and stared at her trying to think of a reply (about 3 seconds).
She followed by asking "are you ordering any more bbq meat?". We said no, and she proceed to shovel the cooking meat to the middle of the bbq plate and remove the charcoal below. Quite a few pieces of meat were still red on the side.
There is no more korean hotpot for ordering. Food is ok. The price is slightly on the expensive side (145 for 2 people), but still within reason.
However, the whole experience at the restaurant felt very rushed and seems to be looking at a quick turnover rather than providing good...
Read moreWe dined at this restaurant at 9:06pm 24/12/2021. we were a group of ten people on two but joint tables with two cookers so I ordered two of the same dishes hoping they would assign one portion per table/cooker. I even asked them to put three bowls of rice on one table and the other three on the other table.
In the end we only got one portion of the meat ordered, not two. I asked two different waitresses and they both said they put both portions onto one dish. However they managed to give us both portions of the fried chicken which made the dining experience very puzzling.
The final bill was $239 and invoice number 211-224-201-312-601.
I left the restaurant hungry and even the kids said the food was not much at all.
I made a suggestion to the manager upon footing the bill, she was very apologetic however she said I should have told them to serve one portion per table, I felt her response was very irresponsible so I said I purposely ordered two of the same dishes and we only received one portion, not two.
Anyway extremely disappointing Christmas Eve dinner and unfortunately they have lost...
