Good food, but it feels like they're still working through some of the kinks.

🍚 Food is yummy with lots of nice customisation options. I ordered a veggie don, and my eggplant was undercooked (crunchy), but I'm hoping it's just opening pains. The rest of the food was really quite good and I think they may have just felt rushed because something was clearly happening with their timing.

⏰ Our food took a fair amount of time, and the friendly workers apologized, but I can't imagine how this place functions during a lunchtime rush.

🖥️ Ordering is by touchscreen. Again, probably just opening pains, but it seemed to take people a fair while to place their orders, so it feels not very efficient and your just queuing at another screen.

🚻 Toilets in courtyard.

Will give this place another shot because I think it's got some great options. Just crossing my fingers they get a little...

First time visiting Sydney Place the new precinct in circular quay. Found the coziest Japanese restaurant here, good place for chilling. I came with a group of friends for late lunch, the place not so busy maybe because we missed the rush lunch hour. I ordered Tonkatsu don for myself. Its definitely a comfort food for me, its warm, filling and tasty. I love the scramble egg underneath the katsu it compliment the whole dish. My gf ordered sashimi don and karaage and she absolutely loved it. Maybe next time i’ll ordered that. The staff were so friendly, it was freezing yesterday and they gave us complimentary miso soup. Maybe they make too many? Lol. Cheers to the chef with bandana! Tips : my friend ordered a bottled tea, once it finish you can ask the staff to fill up your bottle with water and you dont need to buy...

My payment transaction didn’t go through properly but no one informed me while I sat right opposite the counter the whole time waiting and enquired about my order a few times. I was told it is coming until the last time that I was told my payment didn’t go through hence they didn’t cook at all. They didn’t even had the courtesy to prioritise my order considering I have been waiting for a long time already without knowing. Overall I waited more than 40 mins for my food and at last I requested the sauce to go with my order, the cashier blindly said it is in the bag where in fact it is not there at all! Very poor service and attitude and...

I love the touch screen option, most cafés should have this! Perfect for the introvert 😊 I have been to a few branches around Sydney. Love the Don and rice bowls they have on offer. I tried the chicken curry Don with the scrambled egg, super yummy and comforting at the same time! Service was quick, staff were super friendly. It was so busy as well, I found seating ok on a busy afternoon during lunch hours on weekday! This area gets super busy! So yeah, this place is quick and easy. Grab a bowl today 😊
