Customer service is very bad. I drove from guildford to punchbowl to try this place out. Upon arrival the sign says please wait here to be seated. So me, my wife and son waited for about 5 minutes whilst a worker said oh just take a seat anywhere. We sat for another 10 minutes just waiting for the menus to arrive. The workers looked confused considering as it wasn’t very busy. When we finally got the menu i ordered the Turkish breakfast my wife ordered the French toast and 2 hash browns and my son got a breakie burger. The worker repeated our order once again before putting it through. When the food came out my plate came out with my sons breakie burger. My son had finished his burger and I was almost finished with my plate and my pregnant wife still hadn’t received her French toast. I called the worker over and asked her is my wife’s food going to be much longer because we are almost finished eating. She said let me look at the iPad. When she returned she said we only ordered 2 meals and my wife didn’t order. She knew clearly that we ordered 3 meals but she was scared and didn’t want to say that she forgot to write it down because when I asked her about an extra hash brown she said they they only come in twos so we had to order 2 hash browns instead of 1. I reminded her of that and she said oh your hash browns haven’t come out yet? I laughed at her and said no they haven’t nor has the French toast. So we canceled my wife’s plate because I wasn’t going to wait anymore considering how long it took them to get the menus out. When I went to pay they were charging me the full price and I was like why is it so expensive considering we only got 2 plates and a coffee ? She said oh you ordered 2 extra hash browns and a French toast and I was like it didn’t even come out to our table. Very disappointed with the service because I was enjoying my meal but I didn’t get to finish it because I got that frustrated with the service that I lost my appetite. Very poor...

"A Fantastic Cafe Experience! Will Definitely Be Back!" "I had the pleasure of dining at Eighteen22 this weekend, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The place has a fantastic, modern vibe, and the atmosphere is cozy and perfect for a relaxing meal. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the [Name of dish, e.g., 'Nutella Pancakes' or 'Creamy Chicken Pasta'], and it was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The portions were incredibly generous, making it great value for money. My friend had a coffee, and she couldn't stop raving about how good it was—the barista really knows what they're doing! What really made the experience was the service. Our waitress was so friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. She made great recommendations and was happy to answer all our questions. The entire staff seemed to be working together seamlessly, creating a really positive and welcoming environment. It’s the perfect spot for a casual brunch or a hearty dinner. The location in the Broadway Plaza is super convenient, and the ambiance is just right. I can't wait to go back and try more...

Lovely dine in Western/Mediterranean cuisine eatery, tucked opposite Punchbowl station.

The staff are lovely and capable, the food was fantastic.

Wife and I ordered a Chicken Fettucine, Caesar salad and Barramundi. The chicken was so moist, tender and delicious, a rare change from the usual dry affair which accompanies a Caesar.

The fish was cooked just right, and my pasta really hit the spot. Compliments to the chef, its obvious how much pride they take in their cooking, it appears they also run a culinary school here.

We have since been back to other the Lottle Brekkie, eggs were done just right (sunny side up) we were able to change our sourdough bread for our choice with no fuss, and I tried a Mocha here which was a amazing, no wonder the queues for coffee here were massive. Mocha can often be unbalanced either way, too much choco and you might as well have ordered a hot chocolate. Too much coffee, and its just bitter. Worst case is where it just tastes like brown water. Again, compliments to the Barista.

We will be back for more, thank you 1822 for a great...

Went here today for breakfast and was waiting to be seated for nearly 40mins. There was no one in line and place wasn’t packed, but only one waiter. Not sure why there was only one staff member as it’s a Sunday. We asked for two high chairs and it took so long so I ended up going to get it myself. Had to call the waiter a few times to order because she was the only person working. She was trying to clean tables, serve people & also at the counter. Food took long to come as well and when it did, a big dumpster bin was dragged into the restaurant and next to our table 😷. Service was terrible and other people were saying the same. Food looked nice but lacked in flavour and after the big bin coming in, I was turned off. The hype on socials for this place is a big scam. They need to hire more staff!!!

I had a meal today and ordered the tacos and prawn hot pot. Tried the fish and figured it was a flat head, asked the manager or (owner) and she confirmed that it was a flat head. Advertised as barramundi on menu as per photo, she didn't do anything about it and just apologised. It's very disappointing, I informed her I didn't like it and "she said well everyone loves the fish tacos" and J said but not everyone eats flat head. In addition to that prawn hot pot was served with Nap sauce (again not on the description on menu) only garlic was noted , This has been a really bad experience and I hoped they were more accomodating. It was our first time, never again.

My lovely husband took me to The whalebone restaurant in Port Macquarie for a celebration of my upcoming new job starting next week. What an amazing dining experience. They have rebuilt after the floods. We had the seafood platter which arrived over 2 courses. I started with a mango belini cocktail whilst Greg tried a local Kempsey beer with mandarin. A beautiful light cassegrain rose with a extraordinary luncheon, followed by dessert. I had a orange creme brulee, and greg had home made strawberry and cointreau ice cream, ending with expresso martinis on tge pontoon. Amazing staff, amazing food, spectacular afternoon
