I’ve never felt so strongly about something before. Barista served two people before me. She was so happy, laughing, looked like she had a great time. I thought, great! Can’t wait for my turn. NO. As soon as I come to the counter her face drops. No smile. Nothing. I don’t need a whole conversation or even be asked how I am, but at least look at me when you give me my beverage and exchange some sort of pleasantries. Is it really that hard to say “have a good day” or to even crack a smile like she did with the two before me? Literally ruined my morning.
AND I want to put it out there that I smiled and tried to be friendly and said “have a good day” to her when I left but that didn’t change anything.

Read moreWe were there last weekend, early Sunday morning. Food and service were fantastic. The girls who works on weekends were always really friendly, even though it was quiet busy on that day, the girl at the counter will give her absolute best. She would always smile brightly and won’t keep the customers waiting for long.
Unfortunately I cannot give a full 5 star rating since I had witnessed that a lady went into the main counter bar area with her child and sprayed fed the cream bottle directly into her mouth. I was appalled. Then I saw the girl working at the counter unknowingly sprayed it in one of the shakes for a customer. We come here often for breakfast - the Medi Breakfast and the Vege breakfast are hands down the best brunch dishes we can find in sydney. even for meat eaters these meals satisfy - think haloumi, eggplant, eggs, turkish toast, olives and sweet potato. I've also had one of their lunch salads and this was fresh, decently sized and flavourful. Highly recommend this cafe, however if I had to give a negative i would mention that the barrister has am unbelievably loud and nasal voice which she happily shares from time to time (just try to sit outside..it lessens...
