The Gingerbeer is worth the visit, and the Summer ale is a good drop too. Recently they must have put up the prices as I was sure they use to be $5 a schooner. - Now $5.50, but still a bargain. Wanted to become a member as you can save 20c per beer, but was told the system wasn't working. The meals are delicious and the steaks cooked with excellent flavour. They have a somewhat outdoor/indoor smoking area with various TV's offering many different sports and betting. So if smoking and watching sports is your thing. The outdoor area is great too, with nice breeze provided by the fans strategically placed. With horse racing etc playing and a giant screen usually running a sporting event. I couldn't give 4.5 stars, so awarded the 5 as I think this place deserves it.

Hidden pub gem! Usually I am not a big fan of pub steaks as they are highly priced and the steak is not as great as expected. However, we came here a couple of times on a Tuesday for special T-bone day and Friday special steak day! Great price and absolutely DELICIOUS! Cook to perfection and soooo good for a pub steak for such great value!!! You get chips and salad on the side or you can ask for mash and veggies! Highly recommend when you're craving for a good pub steak!

The ginger beer was refreshing, and the stout was ok (although it just tasted like an 'old gold', not the chocolate stout in its name). However the pizza was disappointing. I was impressed by the fair price, but when it came out I understood... it was much smaller than you'd expect for a pub style Pizza. The phone in the pic is for scale. The beef on it was nice, but the rest of the toppings, especially the crust, tasted like that on a frozen pizza.

I've been here twice and both times i had fantastic food. Finger licking good steak. Four hundred grams of T-bone, amazing. An exceptionally big place. You can come with a hundred friends. Alcohol is ordered at the bar and food is ordered in the second place near the kitchen, so you do not have to wait long for drinks. Very friendly service. Moderate prices. We will definitely come back here again. Very nice service. A place worth recommending.
