Fried egg toppers and sambal with peanuts and ikan bilis (dried anchovies) are just a few bucks more. People where lining up to order what was on display, which was rice and some side dishes. We ordered rice with chicken rendang. lamb, vegetables. That was $20 was 1 piece of chicken rendang, cheap cuts of lamb with full of bones and chewy bits, a spoon of below average carrots and beans. The waiter poured beef gravy over rice after we told him we don’t eat beef. The laksa we ordered had a strange looking & smelling broth with cold noodles, a boiled egg and a garnish of chilli and onion and that was $13.
