Came for coffee, milkshakes, and cakes with the kids during the Uralla Fairy Festival. The staff got multiple items ordered wrong, and missed writing a few items, but charged us full price for what we ordered. When I went in to request the Large Cappuccino I ordered but didn't get (ignoring the fact we got a vanilla milkshake instead of caramel), the owner accused me of being a liar and trying to "steal" an extra coffee, even though his staff were young, poorly trained, and obviously overwhelmed. When I told him we had paid for everything we ordered he swore at me as well (at which point I stopped trying to be polite and swore back)! Horrible customer service and completely inexcusable - if you can't be polite to customers don't run a Cafe! The coffee was awful and the cakes were average...

Absolurely LOVE Michael's cafe. Inside an old Bank of NSW bank with large vault used as larder. The photos on the wall and the building itself take you back. I had Michael's fry up which was so good and tasted very much like home cooking. Michael was there cooking. The coffees are great too with the best service. Music is in the back ground and you can still hold a conversation. You can sit inside or outside under the trees. It is very pet friendly as well. Michael's serves breakfast and lunch and if the locals coming and going are any indication it is EXTREMELY good. Can't wait to return to try something else on...

The older lady with the short hair and glasses shouldn’t be in customer service. Super rude, tried to ignore our presence & serve someone before us when we had been standing there for 10 minutes already. She didn’t give us a menu when we asked to see one and walked away when we asked her what was in the pastries. She was also telling other potential customers that there were no free tables when there were clearly several that were empty. We ordered pre-made pastries to take-away and they took over 20 minutes to simply get them out of the display and hand them to us. Congrats, way to...

The atmosphere was inviting with a great outdoor yet off footpath table area that looks out to the trees back yard. Inside were a few tables also. The place looked very clean and well-maintained. Coffee was tasty and worth every dollar. The bloke serving was friendly and took no time to serve up a much needed bacon n egg toasty and coffee Best thing is, no other cafe was open so early on a Sun morning. Hope this cafe continues to get excellent reviews as it so well deserves. An awesome spot for bike riders

Hiding away in a small country town is one of the best cafes I have so far discovered. Excellent food, great staff, really pleasant location. You can choose to eat outside or inside an old bank. Afterwards you can stroll around the garden, enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The locals definitely know this place is worth a visit however I have now visited on multiple occasions and was always able to find a pleasant spot. Go discover it for yourself.

Best coffee I have ever had in New England Highland considering the dark roasted aroma. If you are nearby can try their cappuccino and and different baked items and meals. Having a coffee in heritage listed building is awesome and you can seat outside in the middle of a small private garden.
