Sushi Master & DancinWok Karratha — Restaurant in Western Australia

Placed an order for Kway Teow, Fried Rice and Honey Chicken costing just over $55….. While waiting noticed just how filthy dirty the restaurant/takeaway was….. Light fittings covered in old oil and thick dust, cabinets hazy with old oil, drinks fridge dirty and hard to see into from old oil, air conditioning dumping water into a bucket inside the store, dirty floors, tables and chairs…… If it wasn’t for the fact my order was ready I would have cancelled…… What I got was some of the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had…… The fried rice was like sticky glue and tasted of old oil, the kway teow had hardly any of the normal smoky flavour and had that same old oil taste, now for the honey chicken which was a joke…… Honey chicken had 6 bite size pieces of pre-cooked, rock hard chicken, a ton of over cooked boiled rice and a heap of chopped onion and capsicum hiding the lack of chicken, all for $19.90…… I immediately called the store and was told the manager would be back in half an hour….. I called back in half an hour and was told the manager had stepped out again….. The man who answered asked what I wanted the manager for….. I explained I was not happy with my order, especially the honey chicken….. He laughs and says “Oh well that’s what we charge”…… I explained that I felt it was not a fair deal for 6 bits of chicken and some over boiled rice at nearly $20….. He just kept laughing saying “oh well”…… DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON...

Great sushi, unfortunately the DancinWok side of things is terrible. Ordered Pad Thai. First they used the wide kway teow noodles instead of the thinner traditional Pad Thai noodles. When questioned they said they were the right noodles....wrong. Then the ingredients were all wrong? You don’t put capsicum & raw white onion in Pad Thai. You also include egg & seafood (usually prawns or squid) and garnished with crushed peanuts & lime wedges. Will keep going back for the great sushi but will never buy anything...

Had the Katsu chicken. The chicken was very crispy but beneath had a sharp? taste which I wouldn't expect a fresh chicken to have and unchewable gristle which wasn't what I wanted (meat quality meh). Rather let me choose meat quality / for a higher price then this. Also didn't expect mayonnaise dropped on the whole thing ... if you would mix all together it was enjoyable (ex...
