This is a good place with good basic food. Have some empathy for running a restAurant in a difficult location where labor and ingredients are more difficult to get and never knowing when a horde will fill the restaurant. We had some patients and sympathy and were able to have a nice time while watching the waitress deal with multiple complicated foreign groups by herself. She will then probably get more negative reviews but it’s a very difficult location to make things work. We applaud people who make a restaurant work like this, this work is too hard for me! We were very surprised by some of the bad reviews — our experience was completely different. The staff were kind and helpful, and we felt very welcome. We sat outside, where the atmosphere was really nice and relaxing. The food was well prepared and absolutely delicious. They also offer a daily menu, which is a great option if you’re on a budget — and the quality was just as good as the regular dishes.

A little downside is that the place is cash only, but there’s an ATM in the next building, so it wasn’t a big issue. Definitely a place...

The good: The overworked waiter, covering, I kid you not, the entire garden consisting of 10 tables, did an incredible job of keeping a cheerful demeanor despite the hardship.

The bad: Everything else. The beer wasn’t cold, but worse than that was the food. We each ordered a pizza that was quite literally inedible. It turns out they serve frozen pizza from their kitchen.
