The Gasthaus is quite on the brim of central St Jakom, with just a few minutes walk to almost everything there is around. The check-in is in the Jagawirt, opposite the road, but you will be welcomed by someone showing you around in Alpina, too. Good parking and easy access are both there. The house itself is a bit aged, but all apartments have good views, nice balconies, and a kitchenette, and very comfy beds. Downstairs there is a very cozy breakfast room, and the breakfast is good, excellent coffee, fresh bread, cheese and ham, as well as youghurts, mueslies, cereals, juice, and fresh boiled eggs if you like. Down on the bottom there is a room for ski equipment, as well as a good sauna department with traditional sauna, as well as a hammam. The Jacuzzi unfortunately was broken, but otherwise a nice 'wellness', and there is even a small gym, not quite up to scratch, but still. For the shy ones, beware, this is mixed sauna. So, all in all, I would regard this a good an priceworthy choice for your alpine holiday - which will be a good one, one of the nicest winter sports resorts I've...
