Cenaro — Restaurant in Vienna

When I arrived to the restaurant a woman had her french bulldog off leash without a muzzle. I asked her to please leash the dog so I can eat in peace, but she told me "my dog doesn't bite, she's the cutest". I asked again and got refused and told that her dog doesn't need a leash. The waitress was there, and she ignored the interaction.

I ordered a burger and fries, the only comment I have is that the meat was most definitely not made there, or fresh (most likely frozen patty, thin and a bit rubbery). Otherwise mostly fine. The glass of water I got had a lipstick mark on it, so I sent that back.

At the end we asked to pay but the waitress was sitting and chatting with the loud group with the woman with the dog without a leash. We ended up going inside and paying there after about 5-10 minutes of being ignored. The woman kept having to call her dog back throughout our lunch instead of putting a leash on.

So, ignorant waitress, subpar food, rude customers unchecked by the staff (or even friends), dirty glass.

Restaurant war mäßig besucht, drinnen gänzlich leer.Draussen sind ein paar Tische belegt gewesen, aber für Fr 18:00 doch eher unterdurchschnittliche Frequenz. Bedienung kam prompt, ein sauberes T-Shirt wäre fein gewesen und nicht eines welches überseht mit Flecken ist. Wir bestellten Eier Nockerln und Berner Würstln. Diese kamen auch prompt, ist jetzt aber auch keine riesige Herausforderung die zwei Gerichte in ihrer Ausführung. Der Salat bei den Eier Nockerln war im unteren Bereich der Schüssel nicht mehr frisch. Die Nockerln selbst waren ein fertiges Produkt. Der sogenannte Puszta Salat welcher bei den Berner Würstln dabei sein sollte, wurde quasi unter den Tisch gekehrt. Die Berner Würstln selbst waren jetzt nicht grad der Riesen Burner. Die Damen Toiletten sind nochmal ein eigenes Thema. Von zwei Kabinen waren in einer das Licht defekt und in der zweiten kein Wc Papier mehr. An der Sauberkeit könnte man auch definitiv arbeiten. Das Interieur im Lokal inneren hat seine besten Jahren schon hinter sich. Unsaubere Bereiche beim Boden, abgerissene Heizungsventile, Schmutz an den Fensterbänken… Für so eine Performance muss ich echt nicht außer Haus und Essen gehen. Wirkt einfach irgendwo lieblos und nicht sehr einladend. Da braucht man sich nicht wundern wenn die Leute weniger Geld für Gastronomie ausgeben wollen, wenn man sich nicht wohl fühlt und das Essen selbst Kantinen Style hat. Genau gegenüber einer gut gebuchten Veranstaltungshalle hätte man sicher mehr Potenzial zum rausholen als das was hier...
