I came here because I was walking through Vienna (I am not from here) and I got excited when I saw that this place makes juices from real fruit and not some sugar-filled junk. Unfortunately, the first time I had juice here it was watery and the acai bowl I had was not very good either (it's probably from frozen fruit)... but I still decided to give the Juice Factory another chance. I tried the vegan sandwich and it was not good as it was very dry and basic. I feel like if they would add a vinaigrette sauce it would make the sandwich a lot better. The juice was still not good the second time I had it. Since I do juicing frequently, I can tell that the fruits used must be frozen because there is little flavour. When you use fresh fruits, I find that the flavour is much stronger. I understand that it may be hard to find fresh fruits at certain times of the year, but even with a good mix of fresh and frozen fruits I think the juices will be a lot more flavourful. Sadly, I wish I spent that money on Starbucks in Vienna instead rather than the juice (or even food) at the Juice Factory because the juice here is not cheap- it would cost the same as some delicious Starbucks coffee which has very consistent and great quality around the world. I am not from here and since the Euro is strong right now, I need to pay 55% more for everything, so everything is even more expensive for me. Overall, I am extremely disappointed, especially after giving this place 2 chances.
Response to Owner: Well, clearly you don't "love feedback" because instead of taking in the feedback, you're being defensive and rude. It's not "advertising for Starbucks," but believe it or not some places actually make quality food and drinks consistently around the world... it's not rocket science. Your juices are watery, so it tastes as though what you use is frozen... and I was partly right because I had a mango juice and one with strawberries, both of which you said are frozen. The fact that you have the audacity to respond to a customer like that is mind-boggling. It says more about you than it does about me. I will now tell my family and friends specifically not to come to the Juice Factory when they come to Vienna. I suggest in the future you learn how to treat customers...
Read moreNo allergens information, specially for gluten.
I asked about allergen information, specifically if the porridge and granola were gluten-free. None of the three staff members knew or even checked the ingredients; they just said, "it contains oats and fruits." I would give 2 stars if the food hadn’t been okay. I was really disappointed that they didn't have an allergen menu available (as European regulations require all food establishments to have), and there was no effort to check the allergens in the products...
Read moreit would be a great place BUT: they don’t wash the vegetables & fruits before making the juices - not the best, if vegetables are not organic & that’s the case. but for me the worst was, they put whole lemons in the juicer - same: no washing before! usually non organic lemon skins are not recommended to eat, not only cause of the pesticides & chemicals. the skin is waxed too. Would be a healthy option to go for a juice, but i guess unfortunately not here. place would be nice & staff is...
