DOMO Asian Fusion & Sushi — Restaurant in Sofia City

I visited this restaurant with high hopes for authentic Asian cuisine, but the experience was a complete disappointment. The food was utterly disgusting on every conceivable level. The noodles weren't even remotely like proper noodles—soggy, flavorless, and poorly prepared.

The Philadelphia set had nothing Japanese about it; it was a mangled imitation that bore no resemblance to the real thing. The Korean rice with bacon? It had zero connection to actual bacon, tasting like some cheap, unrelated substitute thrown together without care. And their so-called kimchi wasn't kimchi at all—just a sad, watery approximation that lacked any authentic fermentation or spice.

Everything we eat seemed to be their own version of the originals, vaguely resembling the products they claimed to offer, but executed with horrifying incompetence and shockingly low quality. Ingredients were subpar, portions skimpy, and flavors nonexistent or outright offensive.

The only redeeming aspect was the pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant, with decent decor and a cozy vibe. However, the abysmal food and mediocre service.. ensure I would never return. Not under any circumstances. Save your time and money; avoid this place...

The only good things were the interior and the taste of the food. Minuses as for me spoil all good, the first - prices are unjustifiably overpriced for everything even on capital frames, the second - while we were waiting for the order the staff smoked right on the track, which even forgot to close and all smoke and disgusting smell stood in a hall where customers eat, I had to go and close this door myself! third - service, although our waiter tried to speak in learned phrases supposedly friendly, his manners and attitude to us was noticeably not the best... when I asked for juice, he indignantly rudely replied that there is no such thing anywhere..... In addition to all this, we came in the morning and frankly speaking the smell in the institution was (pardon the frankness) as if from the restroom, apparently not only from the terrace door is not closed... I had a better opinion but I won't go...

Went there last night. The atmosphere and decor are impressive. Walked in with no one to greet us and take us to the reservation table. On the non-smoker side there was almost no one to serve us - at least 10 tables. Waited for ever to get menu and to order. Food was not impressive or fresh. Stomach problems for both of us all night and day. The server didn’t know to recommend a dry sake neither attended us to refill. The warm sake was not really warm and she asked us how to warm it. Soup was served before drinks. The gyoza I ordered felt like it was heated in the microwave and was somewhat sticky. The tuna tartare was hideous. The fish didn’t taste fresh.
