Worm in sashimi. My husband submitted an initial review. I would like to share both photos that I took, these are taken seconds apart. If you care to zoom in. The object on my chopsticks shows different shapes. That is because the worm was alive and moving. It's absolutely disgusting. I initially saw a small dot on what seems to be a piece of wild salmon. Picked it up with my chopsticks and the worms went from a small ball, to stretching out to about 8 mm long, then coil back a bit like it is trying to wrap back onto my chopsticks. I am leaving a review now because it's impossible to sleep at night knowing that my daughter and I have eaten most of our nigiri by the time we found the worm. Wondering what parasite might now be living in our body...

Absolutely amazing experience here! Me and my bf are sushi lovers so we just ordered sushi to share and it was amazing. Best sushi I’ve ever tried as each piece is so flavourful and you can tell the different flavours in each different sushi rolls. I would say this is the best restaurant I’ve been to in Innisfail and it caught me off guard with how amazing it was. The atmosphere is beautiful and calming and the service was amazing even seeing the fact that they were apparently understaffed, they made sure our experience was perfect. Since it was Valentine’s Day, the server even gave me a rose! So sweet ♥️

Came to the restaurant thinking it's still Beseda restaurant but it has changed owner. Came in regardless of have lunch to try it. Strike 1 is the rice being mixed jasmine rice and Japanese round rice. Strike two, half way through the sashimi, my wife found a worm in the salmon sashimi. Brought it to the chef that was out front and was told that it is not a worm when it was dug out from the salmon. The chef told me it was radish... Got to think that I am going to roll over and agree. Avoid this new ownership at all cost unless you want parasites in your body.
