Come for the donuts and keep coming back for the fresh baked goods! Apple fitters pictured are quite large and thick. I liked that you can pull it apart piece by piece. The MIDDLE is what separates the fitter from the rest as the centre is filled with apple pie filling! No wonder every time I went in there the donuts were sold out! 3rd times a charm considering I placed an order the day before haha I will say I wish there was more glaze on the donut. Not a dealbreaker but something to note. After a few days like any donut they slightly harden, do not throw away! Throw that fritter in the microwave for a min, throw some ice cream on there and enjoy! The customer service had me going back to try this donut. First two times sold out and upon inquiry the owner gifted me a baked good as a treat. Both the jelly donut and sausage roll were tasty and fresh! I’ll be going back to try the bbq pork bun and ham and cheese buns. Yum! Decent parking if the graders are thru the lot in the winter otherwise you’ll be bumping thru the lot. The staff were following health and safety protocols while wearing masks. Support local and eat well!

I was about to go to another nearby bakery but discovered they took advantage of the lower minimum wage for minors so I came over here and I'm glad I did. There was a lineup outside because only one customer can go inside at a time. This is fine for summer but winter might be difficult. Also one thing to remember is that the strip mall doesn't have any bike parking options so I locked my bike at the park across the street. I bought a piece of carrot cake and a brownie for $2.75 each. Both very yummy. I also got a BBQ pork bun and a egg, ham, and cheese bun for $3 each. I enjoyed them. Yes, they accept credit cards. No minimum purchase amount.

They need to prepare more donuts everyday. Shouldn’t be sold out by 10am when they open at 9am >:( Donuts have a bit of an Asian twist—they’re exceptionally fluffy like Hong Kong bakery bread, yet are still western donuts. A delicious mix! Other pastries and baked goods are also good quality for the price, and super fresh and crisp too! Note this isn’t a premium bakery. Come here for a great cost-value ratio on goods that are far better in quality than their marketed price. Despite not being “premium”, I’d still come here day after day instead of my local fancy bakery.

Anyone who knows of this place already knows what I'm going to say, but for the rest of you, you've made a discovery to treasure.

Lucy (the main proprietor) makes basically all the core stuff, from doughnuts to cupcakes to cakes to cinnamon buns, bread, and even sweet-potato based dog treats (my dog's a huge fan!)

The apple fritters in particular are an amazing offering, I would highly recommend them.

She treats her customers very well; my singular complaint is the service (especially with covid restrictions) is a tad slow.

If you want her best, like the apple fritters and doughnuts, come early! She does make a small extra batch, but they all easily sell through by noon at this location.

However, she's very willing to accomodate orders; simply call in during normal business hours, and she'll have it ready (often next day!) for quick and easy pickup. Frankly, it's about the only way to score some of her best items, if you're not a morning person.

She does maintain another location, but it is more of a satellite - this one is her main one, so it gets the best stuff.

This one is a local gem, and while I shun the concept of buy local as propaganda, Lucy and her bakery are deserving on both a community level and quality. You will not be the worse for buying local if you are lucky enough to have this bakery in the area.

You will not be disappointed - unless you arrive late. It's worth an early wakeup,...

I saw the long line up at 9 am while at the playground across the street and quickly googled what the buzz was about. When the line died down I went to visit. It's nothing fancy inside and I didn't think the selection was that great... but the lady in front of me made a comment that today's selection was way better than usual. I got a sourdough loaf (she offered to slice it but there's a line up behind me so I declined), cinnamon buns (6 year old was disappointed it didn't look like the iced boxed ones but gave it a 10/10), old fashioned butter tart (too sweet for me), carrot cake (moist but still too sweet for me), sausage rolls (yum!!). The raspberry donut she slipped into my bag was incredible. Not a fan of sugar dusting but the raspberry jam inside was so flavorful and not too sweet and the donut itself was SUPER SOFT. Lucy needs a BIGGER donut selection!! I would get a dozen! And there's the little lady at the cashier (Lucy?) herself - friendly, with a kind word for every customer, and efficient. She makes you feel like you're in a small town shop and she's going to adopt you. It was a feel good shopping experience...
