I would give 6 stars if I could! A gorgeous, authentically Italian style place with above and beyond service and amazing flavors! We went with a party of 7 and we're an odd group (one with a tomato allergy, a mother and toddler who are vegan and an old man who likes his "meat and potatoes" and considers pasta with a plain meat sauce to be really good Italian food). First, our water glasses seemed to magically be ever full, drinks too, they got all the orders exactly as requested, were apologetic when they brought the wrong beer once and all but insisted they correct the error at no charge of course. The servers all seem to truly work as a team even though we mostly dealt with the main, handsome young man who probably doesn't pause even for a split second from open till close while always seeming more than happy to make sure our dining experience was top notch (and it so was)! The restaurant was absolutely packed and so, understandably the food didn't come out right away, but it certainly didn't feel like we waited very long (the delicious bread basket with oil and balsamic probably helped) but the incredibly busy young man still took the time to come and assure us that the food wouldn't be much longer. When I say he came to assure us, I should rather say, he let us know while he was there filling our waters or replacing drinks and bread like a ninja server because he was at our table and all his other tables too very often, without interrupting or being intrusive and never leaving anyone wanting. Wow! My only disappointment is that I live nearly a 3 day's drive from Halifax and may never get back. I will certainly dine there again if ever I do make it back this way though! Thanks La Frasca! Our last night out with our family was so beyond enjoyable! I hope all our server's tipped him really well because he certainly deserves it! Tip your servers people! Especially when they're so extraordinary!
