Sushi Shop — Restaurant in Laval (administrative region)

Firstly i will start off by writing, we have frequented this sushi shop many many times , always with big orders , and have always been satisfied with quality. My review will be solely based on the customer service i received. i called to place an order 2 1/2 hours in advance of the time needed , i specifically said i needed my order to be fully brown rice before i even gave my order. Once completely i was told it could not be done in full brown rice, and was going to be given white for a portion of the order. If someone specifically has dietary needs and requests this and is told after the fact that it could not be done but that it is the same thing (brown and white rice the same?!?) it is unacceptable. I then explained that it is a dietary need and would have to cancel because no white and brown rice are not the same thing, and was told “OK ON ANNULE” and got the phone hung up on my face. Unfortunately during these pandemic times we have always supported local restaurants, and although i get the frustration, to hang up on someone’s face is not only disrespectful but it is unprofessional beyond measure and if this is how this location represents itself then that is unfortunate especially to regular customers who place orders of way over $100 in one order, and have referred...

Good sushi and nice staff, but I was told that they "don't treat allergies after 4 pm" and found 2 sesame seeds in my sushi after stating clearly that I'm allergic to sesame seeds. I've never been told about this rule at other sushi shop locations. They were nice enough to remake my order, but I find this rule to be rather unfair to people with allergies. Good and fast service. Only thing there was a bit of communication issues between the cashier and the cooks. Since I ordered 2 times the same order but received only one. They had to make another one so more waiting (same happened for the sushi dessert).
