Great Wall Chinese Food — Restaurant in Ontario

My hub went and picked some food up from the great wall for the first time tonight after we read so many positive reviews. They told my hub, after placing the order, it was going to be a half hour, which to me, means its going to be fresh, so we had no issues with fresh food. It was fresh by the time he got it home and we opened it up. The breading is delicious and full of flavour and juicy. The sweet and sour sauce is nice and thick unlike many other chinese places now who have dried out chicken balls and watered down sweet and sour sauce. We ordered chicken wings, chicken balls, chicken fried rice and Szechuan chicken. The wings were made with an interesting twist. To our surprise they were breaded with a much lighter fluffier doughy breading that was so amazing. The Szechuan chicken was great the veggies were very fresh and the sauce was delicious. The customer service is terrible!!! The woman on the phone yelled at me, then hung up on me!?!??? I have recently moved and when I called The Great Wall for delivery, I was told I was out of their delivery area. However, we agreed if I spent a minimum of $50 and paid a delivery fee- they would deliver to me. I said great, I would call right back with my order. Minutes later, I called with my order and the person on the phone said..No...we do not deliver to that area. We discussed our previous conversation.....but she ended the call by yelling at me...No...the delivery driver is gone home!. Well, seriously, what hell was all that??!? What a complete waste of time! I certainly don't believe that the delivery driver is gone home on a Saturday night! And now...I don't care. What's going on at...

I ordered from this place once and it was a terrible experience. I got the chicken with noodles and vegetables. The chicken was not cooked properly, it was slimy and still pink inside. The vegetables were raw, completely unseasoned, and the noodles were awful.

When I went back to address the issue, the customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. I showed the owner the food and instead of apologizing, he argued with me. I asked for a refund and they gave me a very hard time. After going back and forth for more than ten minutes, they finally refunded me.

This is absolutely not how you treat customers. I would never go back or recommend this place, not sure how they are...
