We went here for a dinner on Saturday. Overall, likely won't be going back. We heard the steak is good here so we tried the 18 oz ribeye steak. It was cooked properly at medium rare however the quality wasn't good. It was tough and difficult to cut through. Not what I would expect for a decent quality ribeye, especially for $60. We let the waiter know hoping we could get another steak cooked or a discount. She just said "Oh..." and walked off. We could see the table behind us sending back food so the poor quality was not at our table only. Our Caesar salad was pretty bland. Mashed potatoes and mushrooms were pretty good. The service could've been better. We waited 15-20 minutes between our appetizer and main dish. We kept asking When will our steak be out? She kept saying 5 minutes. I'm guessing this place was understaffed. There were quite a few empty tables as well so I'm not sure what the problem was. I've heard good things about this place from friends but our experience was pretty bad. As for the atmosphere, the lighting is excessive. They could've used less lightning to create a better ambience like in Weir's down the hall. It feels like you're in a reality restaurant tv show where there's bright lights on everything. If you're going here, ask people what's good on their menu. I definitely would not recommend the ribeye steak.

We had made a reservation since May because we were coming to the Michael Bolton's concert (June) and were advised the place gets busy. Service was good but not 5 stars. Bread took forever and our server was rushing through drink ordering. After I ordered some drink I realized there were more options and I was not told. The lobster bisque was ok but not much lobster taste at all and tiny pieces on top. I could taste the cream and the wine but no lobster. The crab cake was really really good! I found it pricey but guess you are paying for the location too. The tenderloin was really good and the sauce divine. It was cooked to perfection. My order was not the best choice, seafood cioppino which is basically a seafood stew. It tasted like the sauce was made with veggies and tomato sauce and then the seafood probably boiled and set on top of the sauce. I counted 3 shrimps, 2 scallops, 3 tiny pieces of white fish meat and did not count clams as they were plenty but I was not impressed by the flavour at all. I spent most of the time chewing on hard pieces of hard uncooked carrots. Desert was an espresso creme brulee which was really good. My drink was a Tom Collins which couls have had more alcohol in it and the lemon juice tasted fake. I do not think they use real lemons. For a meal of $200 plus taxes, I had higher expectations.

I had a reservation for 7 pm yesterday. We were greeted and seated on time with very friendly service. We started off with white ciabatta and olive bread. We were hoping for a dozen oysters, unfortunately they were out of stock. The ambiance was fairly quiet with a few other tables that were already seated. We started off with two appetizer consisting of the Ahi Tuna and jumbo shrimp cocktail. The tuna was fresh. The shrimp was a good size, over cooked and chewy. For our main dishes we had prime rib, baked potato, asparagus and mushrooms. The prime rib was cut quite thick. I chose medium rare which didn’t taste right at all and I didn’t want to continue eating it. The texture and taste were off and it was incredibly dry. The asparagus came with only five pieces which were cooked well. The mushrooms were heavily salted and tasted off. The potato was cooked perfectly topped well. Over all the dinner was awful and I recommend eating at their buffet especially for the price of $230.00.

Booked a birthday dinner for myself and 3 friends with high expectations as this restaurant has great reviews and was highly recommended to me by many friends, I wish I could say the same but the experience I had was absolutely terrible. We went in for our 9:15pm reservation sat at our table and it went downhill from there. Our waitress came to greet us and after asking us 3 separate times if we would like water ( each time we said yes) we finally got our water. We placed our drink orders which was a bit stressful as we ordered champagne and the waitress clearly had no clue what it was and it got a bit confusing. We started with a dozen oyster that actually came out quite fast which was great cause we were all pretty hungry. Oysters were delicious BUT our server didn’t bring us spoons for the 4 different sauces they came with once we finally flagged her down she replied oh I couldn’t find any spoons let me check another station , she then returns with 3 spoons. We ordered our 4 steaks, 2 were cooked correct the other 2 were not. When we went to try and send them back we could not find out waitress so we called another lady over that was AMAZING, she sent back the extremely undercooked steak and offered my friend who got the extremely Over cooked steak to either wait 10 minutes for a new steak or prime rib that would come out right away. It’s now past 10pm so she got the prime rib , which ended up being pretty gross the most fat I have ever seen on a cut of prime rib ( yes I know it’s a fatty cut but this was bad) . When it was time to pay our waitress finally showed up again before I could ask for separate bills she ran off and brought back one bill I politely asked her oh sorry could we get separate bills she literally snatched the bill out of my hand and sighed in my ear. She brought our individual bills that were all wrong and when we tried to politely let her know who got what she was so rude and annoyed it was just a mess and she continued to give us attitude. Mind you we never said anything out of the way to her we sat patiently and politely while she was making it very clear how annoyed she was. For a AAA high end steak house and after spending over $400 that was not the service I imagined we would have received. I did call to let the manager know as I would have wanted to know how my staff was treating patrons she was wonderful said she would get back to me and I still have not heard back it’s been over 2 weeks so unfortunately I have to write this bad review. All in all the food was mediocre, service was bad and it took forever for the food to come I would not recommend or return to this steak house save your money the...
