I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but my experience today was so bad. The previous owner of this place was a Thai family and we loved going here for our Thai cravings. However, we came in today and realized the place was sold to a Chinese family. When we walked in, we didn’t feel welcomed at all. They just stared at us and we had to start the conversation by asking for a table (in English). Then the server told us (in Chinese) to go to any table (there was no customer at that time). The place was very smelly. Then they asked if we wanted Chinese food or Thai food. I find this funny because when we go to a Thai restaurant (the name is Thai Cuisine), why would we want Chinese food? We had go wait 30 minutes for our food to arrive, and we’re so disappointed. Everything was super sweet. I couldn’t even eat the coconut rice (it tasted like sweet dessert), so I had to order an extra steamed rice (1/3 of the rice was burnt) to eat with my curry. We also ordered a Thai mango sticky rice and the sticky rice wasn’t as sweet as the coconut rice I got for my main dish. The noodles in the Pad Thai were very overcooked and greasy, and it’s very sweet, too. Most importantly, the beef on the Pad Thai wasn’t fresh!! (Praying for our tummy tonight!!). We left so much food and the servers gave us attitude when we left. If you’re looking for Thai food, I would highly NOT recommend this place. Save your money and time for a better place. Overall such a...

This is a little hole-in-the-wall Thai place that we discovered after walking the Sifton Bog trails. There is not much seating: four tables with 4-6 chairs at each in a space about the size of an average living room. The food was really excellent and they seemed to be quite busy with take-out orders and pickups. There were also 3 parties of people (including us) eating in. The spring rolls had just the right crunch: the type that makes your mouth water when you hear someone take that first bite. The pad thai was a unique style that did not rely on a tomatoey sauce, and was very flavourful - noodles were perfect. Penang with beef was excellent - my favourite curry. The Spicy Noodles were done just right and had a good amount of heat without being overbearing. They were not shy with the basil, and I was glad of that! The Coconut soup was a very generous portion that my wife and I shared. It was very well done with the kefir lime really standing boldly in contrast to the sweetness of the coconut milk. Portions are very generous, and we took home plenty of leftovers. Kitchen noise is very prominent if you choose to eat in, and drinks are served in paper take-out cups so if atmosphere is important to you, consider taking this excellent food to a place that is conducive to your enjoyment of a...

I'm new to London and last night, we got hit with that big storm but my silly basement dwelling self didn't think anything of it and ordered some food on SkipTheDishes. Of course, all of the delivery drivers kept declining the pickup so the restaurant called me to figure out a solution. They ended up driving out to deliver my food to me (I'm not terribly far but still! the weather!). When I wasn't able to cancel my order through Skip to still allow the restaurant to be paid, I offered them cash at the door and they declined! I'm still in absolute awe of the above-and-beyond service I received last night. On top of that, the food was absolutely delicious - I got pineapple fried rice, curry pad thai, golden curry, and spring rolls. I tried them all and can confidently say they were all 10/10: fabulous taste and presentation, still warm when I received them despite all the trouble I caused by ordering delivery during a storm. Instantly became my favourite restaurant in London and I can't wait to eat there again. Thank you so much for the excellent service and...

Definitely not Thai. Bad Chinese food at best. Greasy with no flavour. Just salty soy and oyster sauce. Could not taste even ginger or garlic. Paper plates, cups, and plastic cutlery??? We had to ask for a serving spoon and that took a while to get. No paper towels in the bathroom. Had to go to cash to get it. Papya salad looked good but it had no flavour and raw beans were tough. Quite spicy as noted on menu. Waitress was nice but could not answer any questions regarding what was in the dish. Even the water was at room temp in beer cups. Perhaps we just ordered the 4 worst things on the menu. The rice was good though. No noticeable crab in the wontons, just cream cheese. Nasty. Pics are what we left. Seriously could not eat it. The chicken looked questionable too. Sliced like deli meat and had an unusual texture. The waitress saw we didn't eat the food and just said sorry. Then handed us a big bill.

TLDR: This review may be inaccurate as the end of the month they will be changing their menu. It is, however, quite good. Although the area inside of the restaurant is small, it gives off a bit of a comfy interior. You can hear them cooking your food at the back, and it smells quite delicious. There wasn't much variety on the menu, but I tend to find it better since you won't be struck with decision paralysis. First picture: The calamari wasn't really anything special. Though the sauce that it came with did most of the legwork. Second picture: the spicy Thai noodles (chicken) was quite a lot. The portion was generous, and all around good, it's just a shame I couldn't finish it all. Altogether it was a good surprise to dine here, and I look forward to leaving another review of their new menu.
