My fiance and I visited this location about a month ago for the first and last time. The place wasn’t busy, but it still took them about 20 minutes to take our order, and another 45 minutes for the food to come out. I could see the kitchen on the reflection of the window where were seated, saw the head chef stick his head into a sauce to sniff it, look at his co-worker, and shake his head. About halfway through making the order, the chef comes out to tell us that the Alfredo sauce that we wanted in our pasta went bad, and says that they can only use marinara sauce. I tell him I wanted something different, then he says “well I’m already halfway through making this order”. He seemed like he didn’t want to start a new order to accommodate us, and so I caved in and said fine. When the pasta came, it was overcooked, and the noodles weren’t el dente. We finished eating and were the last customers left in the store, so we waited for the waitress to come give us the bill. We waited and waited, while she was standing right in front of us on her phone. Eventually I ask for a box and the bill, she brings just a box and goes back to sitting on her phone. I ask her again for the bill, and she finally brings it. Doesn’t offer to take anything off the price of the order, and we’re fairly certain we saw mouse traps in the kitchen. During the wait for our food, multiple other customers complained that their food wasn’t what they ordered either. This was a terrible experience, the location needs to close. The employees don’t care and the food sucks, I wouldn’t recommend...
Read moreI LOVEDDD TONYS!! No so much now. We went there recently, and my god, I won't go back. I think there was a reason it was dead in there.
Starting off, it was freezing in there. Then they were out of half the food. I ordered a salad and asked to make sure there was zero brown lettuce as I've had a surgery that's made my stomach sensitive to certain things but even then when you go to a restaurant like Tony's you are expecting the best of the best. We)), the salad came out, and not only was there brown lettuce, but a few were wilting and turned mushy. Didn't dine those until I ate the top layer. The salad also tasted like we were eating sawdust, with there being a grainy texture. My partner and nephews' salads were the same.
Then my nephews food came out, and the noodles were cold and undercooked in some places and over cooking in other. My partners food came out just noodles with no meat and very little sauce on it. My nephews shrimp was gross. We let the server know all of this and just LITERALLY shrugged her shoulders. I literally split my meatball sandwich between the three of us.
The only good thing was the mini panzo apps, delicious like usual.
My partner and I usually drop 30+ dollar tips here, and we didn't tip at all. I was uber disappointed. I was super glad we had two bathrooms because we all spent the night throwing up. Paid a 110 dollars to throw it all up.
You have a legacy in London, please do better. You can't improve if you only look at the positive reviews. The bad ones show you where...
Read moreI have only ever had the panzerotti here. And it is probably the best I’ve ever had. HOWEVER, the service we received last night (Dec. 11/24) was abysmal.
We placed an order for delivery online at around 5:20pm. We received a confirmation email with an order number and a delivery time of 30 min. 1 hour later we hadn’t heard a peep. So we decided to give them a call at around 6:30. They informed us that they never received our order at all, and were told to “just call next time, our tablet doesn’t work.”
Why offer online ordering if you know it doesn’t work?
They apologized and told us they would get our order out to us right away.
Our order did not show up for another hour. Time on our receipt is 7:30pm. No offer of a discount or any attempt to make things right. In fact, the cost over the phone was a dollar or two more than what we ordered online. Not sure how that works.
Extremely disappointing and ruined the experience...
