Beer Drum — Restaurant in Oshawa

Used to go here all the time, normally the staff is very pleasant. The other day one of the bartenders was extremely rude to me and when I called in to speak with the manager they hung up on me twice as well as shouted at me. This on its own is extremely unprofessional but would not warrant a one star rating. I went in today and asked to speak to the owner, rather than listening to what I had to say he immediately demanded that I leave. it was the owners refusal to sit down and address my complaint that warrants the 1 star rating. Even if he had listened to me and done nothing it would have been more forgivable then not even giving me the time of day.

Beer Drum is a small neighborhood pub. They serve very good nachos and burgers. I also like their pickled eggs 🙂😁 They have karaoke every Tuesday from 9 pm til about 1am so expect the place to be loud. 😋Regular characters like coming on karaoke day to have fun. Today, STAR, the bartender served us delicious Smokin' Beer Drum Wings with honey glaze dip, deep fried mushrooms and Super Club sandwich. I highly recommend this place! It is a hidden gem located on a small road behind a much larger, more obvious place. Look for it, it's worth it! It is small, but very clean, and pleasantly decorated. The staff is warm and homey. The whole thing feels like you walked into your best friends rec room. We all had burgers that were made fresh on site and they are excellently seasoned! I had a burger with grilled cheese sandwiches instead of buns! It was very tasty and filling. I also had a Greek salad that was easily one of the best I have ever had!
