Comfort Cravings — Restaurant in Ottawa

I was driving onto terry fox drive when I notice a new restaurant called Comfort Cravings. It’s Behind Boston pizza in the Kanata Centrum. I was interested and decided to go there. They had UFOs on the menu. The UFO is pressed between two slices of bread in which the ingredients are inside, and is shaped like a round circle with crunchy bread around the edges which I loved, you will see in the photos. The first one I tried was a UFO filled with all beef bologna, all beef salami, cheese, and mustard. The crust around the UFO was crunchy and flavourful great flavour and very tender. The second one I tried was called the cali craving it had all beef bologna cheese BBQ chips and mustard. Also very flavourful. The third one I tried was the Montreal Crave, this one was my favourite, it had Montreal smoked meat smoked turkey mustard and mayo, it melted in my mouth, it was excellent, my favourite. They also have coleslaw and Mac n cheese which were also very tasty. They have a meat ball madness which has a meat ball on top of a piece of bread with sauce poured on top. was all so good. The flavour reminded me of the meat ball sandwich and the sauce at the Prescott tavern on Preston street, wow. They have meatloaf and Mac. Comfort Cravings was a wonderful stop for my family and me. From the moment we walked in, we were met with warm, friendly service that made us feel right at home. The food was delicious, with perfect portions that left us satisfied without feeling overstuffed.

The prices were very reasonable—such a relief on the wallet, especially when dining as a family. It’s clear this place is about more than just business; we noticed community support initiatives posted inside, which really touched our hearts. It’s so nice to see a local spot giving back.

I recently had the absolute pleasure of trying Comfort Cravings for the first time, and let me just say—WOW. I ordered the Pulled Pork UFO and the Cajun Chicken Wrap, and both were out-of-this-world delicious.

The Pulled Pork UFO was next-level comfort food. The pork was perfectly seasoned, and packed with deep flavors.

Then came the Cajun Chicken Wrap, and let me tell you, it did not play second fiddle. The chicken was juicy and spicy in all the right ways, with a kick of Cajun heat that was balanced perfectly. It was flavorful, filling, and still felt light enough to keep me going afterward.
