We visited this restaurant based on its high ratings but were shocked by the poor service. After waiting two hours we only received part of our order cold, while more than three tables who arrived after us got their food before we did. Water never came and even our drinks were wrong. In the end we left without dinner — very disappointing experience. I had to amend my original comment because I was not allowed to respond to your inaccurate comment. First: this is my only review under this name — I do not have any other names. My wife may have left her own comment as well, but that is entirely her choice.
Second: in a shocking and deeply upsetting moment, your staff suddenly came over and asked me to leave the restaurant in front of everyone, even though I was sitting quietly with my family waiting for our order — which had already been delayed for more than an hour. Imagine the humiliation and disappointment my family and I felt at that moment. Because of the intense noise, crowding, and loud sounds in the restaurant, I had to ask the staff member to repeat himself several times just to understand what he was saying. Despite this, I never acted out of line; on the contrary — after this humiliating incident, I went to the employee who claimed I had raised my voice at her (while she was working normally) and apologized if there had been any misunderstanding.
What makes this even more frustrating is that after waiting in total for more than two hours to get a table and receiving only part of my order (even though you said it would take around 40 minutes), I never received any apology for the delay, the cold food, the mistakes, or even for not bringing the water — which I don’t think needs any preparation in advance. In fact, I watched Three tables who arrived well after me receive their food, water, and drinks before me without any word of apology or attempt to make things right.
Despite all of this, I now find myself being blamed instead of your staff acknowledging the service failure. This is extremely disappointing and disheartening — especially since I had hoped this would be a pleasant experience for me and my family. Instead, it turned into one filled with humiliation and frustration.

Read moreWe arrived approx 630 on a Saturday evening, it was busy, waited 20 min maybe. We had hoped for patio, lots of umbrellas providing shade. Dogs allowed patio only. However we were offered table inside which was fine too, loud though lol 😆 lots of customers excited for their food. 95% Everything at tables is disposable, easy clean up but wonder if their single use plastic bags, bibs, gloves are eco friendly? The utensils are wooden, and table covers are paper. This didn't bother me too just a lot of plastic going in garbage if not. Our server was pleasant, helpful and did her best. Food takes a while to cook on busy nights so be ready to socialize and enjoy your time. The food was amazing!! Portions huge, tasty, and yes messy so bibs and gloves were very much appreciated. My very lucky yet picky 12yr ate it right up and his kids meal portion was big. Everything is sharable, his fries so tasty 😋 but I was shocked he ate them they were kinda spicey for kids meal. I had the shrimp and mussels bucket with mild signature sauce corn and potato my husband tried the crayfish shrimp bucket with rice and potato's The craw fish not really my thing bit they enjoyed. We were celebrating wedding anniversary so enjoyed the dinner out. Bravo to and thank you to the owners for bringing such a vibrant delicious dining experience to Orleans. I have a lot of food allergies but I can usually enjoy fish or seafood that is not fried/ battered so a nice alternative to what's already...
Read moreHad a Monday lunch with a friend and we both enjoyed our meals. I had the large size of shrimp & chips, too much for me to finish. I will order the medium size next time. Both shrimp and fries were so good! My friend had the fish and chips and it was a nice mild tasting seabass. We were the only customers at noon and were looked after by a friendly and efficient young woman, who checked back on us, making us feel very welcome. It would be fun to go back and share a bucket with my husband, with corn, potatoes, etc. It is a nice clean restaurant with comfortable booths, plus tables and chairs. It is in the plaza on the 10th Line, at the opposite end to Sobeys, next to the St. Louis Restaurant. I have a small appetite, so I enjoy any restaurant where shrimp can be my main dish. Having them perfectly cooked was a nice surprise. Oh, no loud music to interfere with our catching up on life. When will other restaurants learn that loud music is a turn off for all ages? Give them a try. You can even get a salad with shrimp on top; there are sweet potato fries, and other add-ons, if you wish. I will definitely...
