Milano Pizzeria — Restaurant in Petawawa

Edit: My last 2 orders were perfectly thin, one handed folded slice material, the pizza is absolutely on point now!

The pizza is great but it's a far departure from New York or Napoli style pizza, if that's your ball game then it's a 5 star, but it's not mine. The ingredients are great and it shows through the taste and justifies the price, but the dough, given my preference, is not well crafted, it's slopes down to the middle so that's where all the ingredients end up, resulting in a pizza which is 60% amazing and 40% dry dough with hints of dried tomato sauce. I even see comments about the dough not being crispy, which is a direct result of that, all the ingredients run to the middle which makes it soggy, if the dough was shaped napoli style, with a tall outter border crust and thin even base in the rest it would make this place completely...

My husband and I order from here all the time. It's our takeout night choice 9/10 times. The deep-fried cheese curds are amazing, the pizza sauce is the best in town, and they also have the best crust. We ordered nachos a couple of times too and compared to the other places around here theirs were the best!

Updating** When we order from here now the food quality is hit or miss. Not sure if it's a new owner or cooks, but sometimes the pizza is genuinely gross. The pepperoni is different almost every time we order, the bacon, the mushrooms are not the same either. Also, the cheese curds will be substituted for the nastiest mozzarella sticks without warning if they don't have curds. They taste cheap.

It's so disappointing, they used to be such a good spot, but it's not worth ordering when you risk getting nasty pizza because it's so...

Ordered here today and was pretty disappointed. On the large pizza we ordered half with peppers and onion. The whole pizza was covered which typically isn’t a big deal, but since they add their toppings diced and under the cheese, I had to disassemble the whole slice just so my 4 year old would eat it. Cheese curds were very cold and can tell were sitting, not up to par with the first time we had them and the chicken wings were also cold. They forgot our dipping sauce that we paid...
