Never come here unless you want the best of the Worst Service Ever! We were a big group of 25 ( Competitive Martial Arts team from Montréal that came to Québec city for one of the biggest events called "Québec Open" which was hosted at the University Laval) looking to celebrate a great win and we had called in advance for a reservation. They took our reservation and when we got there, we were seated at the most inconvenient part of the restaurant... .along a wall which was a banquet and the opposite was chairs....so if you visualize this... if we're all seated... if let's say the person sitting in the middle on the banquet side needs to go to washroom, either side, 6 or 7ppl would have to scooch all the way to the end just to let said person get up.... Very inconveniently placed😒 We had also mentioned we needed wheelchair ♿️ access, upon hearing this, David told us (with a very rude and disrespectful tone) he could cater to us but then we would be divided amongst 8 tables AND that we would have to be out of the restaurant by 4, ( it was 2:45) ...we ended "managing" on our own keeping to the area where we were able to sit together as a team... With the time frame we were rudely greeted with, our group had agreed as long as our orders would be taken and we would be served at an appropriate time.... He took it upon himself to take half of the groups orders mixing up with the waitress who was supposed to take care of us....this leading to a very very mumbojumbo mix up of serving the meals.... Our orders were taken at 3pm, they started to serve our meals 3:35 and our bills were given at 3:50!!!! ....... ...the Terrible experience was 6ppl in our group Never Recieved there meals even though the order was taken at 3....and as well the waitress screwed up the drink order that she literally had to come back over 3x, repeating/ re-asking what was ordered!!! Another thing....What is the purpose of taking an order person by person in a row and then when dishes are ready to be served, instead of at least " having an idea " of who ordered what, and serving, the staff literally is just " Hollering" out the names of whatever dishes they were carrying!!!! ...at this point ...might as well call it " Self- serve" as the service was literally ZERO and such a waste. ..... For the diners who got their bills for the dishes they ordered that they Never Recieved, they still had to wait (standing)till past 4pm just to have it wrapped to go! It was such a POOR memorable experience that taught us something, our big Team group will never come back to that specific Barbies in Ste-Foy where the hotel is. This is thanks to the wonderfully bad experience we had due to the most Rude, disrespectful, has no business being a manager " David"... And to the owner of this specific franchise, we personally enjoy Barbies, but we believe you need to re-evaluate whose managing the business as he's just lost you a great deal of customers.... Odd thing is...we were there last year as well for the same event and we were a bigger group, David was there but was not management at that time.....so surprised to unfortunately see him again this year and promoted.... Read moreMy recent visit to the restaurant next to Hotel Quartier was marred by a series of disappointing encounters with them. Despite being a regular customer who often orders food for pick-up to my room, I was taken aback by Carolina's consistently rude demeanor.
During my initial phone call to place an order, a person I think her name is Carolina seemed rushed and dismissive. She insisted on adding a 5% tip for pick-up orders, which I declined, as it seemed unnecessary given that I would be retrieving the food myself.
Upon arriving to collect my order, Carolina informed me of an additional 15% service fee on top of taxes, a policy I had never encountered before. Despite my attempts to discuss the matter calmly and even showing her past bills without such fees, Carolina remained stubborn and unaccommodating.
Feeling frustrated and disrespected by Carolina's attitude, I made the difficult decision to cancel my order. As a loyal customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, and Carolina's behavior fell far short of those expectations.
In conclusion, Carolina's consistently poor customer service greatly detracted from my overall experience at the restaurant. I hope that management takes steps to address these issues and ensures that all patrons are treated with the respect and professionalism...

Everything about this restaurant was dissapointing.
We first walked in, the gentleman seating people asked me if I spoke english, then informed me of a 20 minute wait. We waited 20 minutes, went back, and a girl was now seating people. She said the other gentleman didn't add me to the list. I thought it was weird he didnt ask my name.. so we waited another 20 minutes.
Finally to our suprise they sat us. The were OUT of Molson Canadian. Which was fine I got something else the server offered. We also got a margarita, which came with a black nearly mouldy lime, and tasted horrible.
We ordered a French Onion soup and a caeser salad. The soup was cold, watery and had practically no taste. Thankfully they didnt mess up the ceaser salad.
We decided to go elsewhere since we waited nearly an hour altogether just waiting to get a seat and then were extremely dissapointed with the food. The Manager seemed very angry and the proceeded to tell me that our food was ready and we should pay for it. I told him id pay for the drinks, even the mouldy lime Margarita.
If you aren't from Quebec, don't go here. You'd think they'd be friendly as theyre located...
