Some of our group members travelled here for our restaurant of the month club to try it out. We arrived and found parking was in an underground parking lot. You can take the elevator right to the restaurant, so no need to go outside. Great for winter! Unfortunately our evening did not get off to a good start as we had to wait, despite having a reservation. The hostess was actively looking for a table to finish and as soon as someone left the staff rushed to prepare it for us. Both the hostess and the manager were apologetic and we ended up having a nice conversation with Nadia, the manager, while waiting. When we were finally seated, we were served by Demi who was friendly and engaging. The food was delicious, though some of my group members were disappointed that they had run out of their appetizer selection on the table d’hote. We enjoyed soup, calarmari and cheese fondue with blueberry compote as appetizers and filet mignon and duck as our main courses. Dessert was profiteroles, cheese cake, creme brulee. The food was delicious, cooked perfectly and well presented. We enjoyed some drinks including the spritz zeste, paris politan and lemonade with rose water with a shot of vodka and wine and sparkling wine, all of which were enjoyable. The sparkling wine was provided complimentarily to apologize for our wait and a free piece of chocolate mousse birthday cake was provided to one of us celebrating a birthday. The ambiance was nice, not too loud even though it was a large space, the service impeccable and Nadia and Demi and the hostess whose name I unfortunately do not recall went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable experience! I recommend that they set limits like many restaurants do, whereby people are given blocks of time for their reservations that they must respect and that after 15 minutes of lateness for a reservation that it is lost, this would prevent others with reservations from having to wait almost 45 minutes for a table.

Came here for a solo lunch and had a lovely experience. I probably walked in right at the last minute because most diners were already leaving, and by the time I finished, I was the only one left in the restaurant — huge thanks to the staff for accommodating me so kindly. 📖 They handed me the menu, and my server immediately and very politely let me know that they didn’t have an English lunch menu. Totally fine by me — I appreciated the honesty and effort. 🥩 I asked for a recommendation between the veal liver and the veal burger. My server suggested the liver, calling it a French delicacy. I gave it an honest try, but the gaminess was just too much for me. For the first time ever, I had to return a dish — not because it was bad, just not my taste. To my surprise, they graciously replaced it with the veal burger, no fuss at all. The burger was massive — I didn’t even finish the bun or fries because I was full just from the patty and salad. 💫 The service was what stood out the most. In all honesty, this is one of the few places in Québec City where I felt completely welcomed and not at all awkward for not speaking French. That small gesture made a big impression. ✅ Would recommend for the warm hospitality alone — and if you’re more adventurous than I am with veal liver, you might enjoy that too!

Came here for brunch with my husband. He had the French toast (he's not gluten free). They have a separate gluten free menu! I had The Scandinavian. Omg. This is one meal I will remember forever and will attempt recreate at home. The potato risoti, with arugula, smoked salmon and poached eggs were delicious! They kept me full the entire day and wasn't even that hungry when we ate dinner at 8pm. Great atmosphere.

Honestly I thought my second visit would be better than my first but in terms of service it was, again, truly disappointing. I never rated my first visit because I figured the waiter was tired or just done with his day hence his annoyed behaviour when I asked what fruity drinks he may have. But when We waited almost an hour before someone finally arrived at our table to begin taking our order and it wasn't at all because they noticed we had been waiting but rather because one of us decided to get up and go find a server, that to me was another red flag. I get many locations today are short in staff but the fact that I can count on one hand how many times we were checked up on, speaks volumes. The food also took 45min to arrive after our order was taken and again no one would check up on us. At the end of the night we had to call on another server because our glasses had not been refilled with water during the meal and he was kind enough to switch to our section to fill everyone's glass. He was apologetic for the delay and I believe he went to look for our server to let her know we needed some attending. So as a person he gets my 5 stars but as a restaurant, Paris...
