A Wannabe Japanese Pastry Cafe!!! I have visited this place few days ago and purchased every flavour of the buns except the sesame flavour. But it wasn't what I expected. The filling was great and delicious but the buns... It's like the ham burger buns but much softer which is fine but the issue about these buns is that they were wet and soggy on every single buns I purchased. Let's just say it wasn't pleasant. Think of it like this. Get a bowl and put the bun in and pour 3 table spoon of water and wait until bun soaks it all up and you put the filling in the middle and start eating it... very disappointed. It wasn't cheap either. Next, I also got a caramep pudding. This also was a disappointment. This is definitely not a Japanese style pudding. Trust me. I have been to Japan and whenever I saw pudding, I purchased one even if it was over priced. The pudding they sell here doesn't have that bouncy texture. It is more closer to a mousse rather than pudding. Taste wise, it's not bad but if you were looking for Japanese style pudding, you will be utterly disappointed. To conclude, I think this is a wannabe Japanese pastry cafe but utterly fails to imitate it. The buns, maybe very few people might like it if you like cookie dough icecream or half cooked pizzas like Little Ceasars but it definitely wasn't for me. To name it pudding, I think it's a false advertisement but hey! If you wanna be a sucker who is willing to pay extra for anything that has Japanese letters on it, go right ahead. But just remember that I warned you in case you regret...
Read morePlease avoid this unscrupulous store. Its modus operandi is to sell the bad and leftover items first, while keeping the fresh ones in the warehouse. Even when there is a squashed one, they insist on selling it to the customer, claiming that it's the manager's order? ⚡️To the owner: I want to clarify to you with facts: You lied! Your salesperson is more honest than you: "There are more in the back room, but the manager told me I must sell this squashed one first!" If I want one, I have to buy this squashed one. If I want two, she will go to the back room to get another one. If you sincerely apologize and are willing to rectify, please first become an honest person...
Read moreI'm absolutely furious with this store that I've visited many times. The salesperson clearly told me that the manager instructed them to sell the leftover, old, flattened and damaged items first, and hide the fresh ones in the back warehouse. I'd like to ask the owner of this store: Are you sure you want to hurt your customers like this? Please go out of business and leave this stall to an honest merchant.
✍️To the Owner: I'm sorry you lied. The salesperson on site said there were more in the room, but "the manager required her to sell this flattened one first before she could start selling the ones...
