Long's Noodle（上海小龍記) — Restaurant in Richmond

We were long time loyal customers and were excited when they re-opened. We went on a Thursday around 1pm and we’re disappointed. First, they told us they sold out of xlb. The old lady were still making different dumplings just not xlb so we ordered other things. It took them long time to buzz us and only to found out something were missing. The portion shrunk, no xlb, and prices were higher with missing items and tea. In the same food court, there was another restaurant selling xlb. We ordered 2 and they were delicious! They tested better than Long’s with way better service....

I recently visited this restaurant, but my experience left me extremely disappointed. Firstly, there were some issues with the service. The wait time of the food was crazy long and they were not even busy. As for the food, the quality was also a cause for concern. The soup we ordered is basically tasteless. The fried bun even had an unpleasant, stale taste and texture, it doesnt even look like a legit Shanghai fried bun... which left us thoroughly disappointed. Can not believe this is a restaurant that had 20+ years of expereience. Definitely a waste of money and time, not...

Every time passing by there are so any people waiting in line for this place so I decided to try it out today. I was really disappointed! As an authentic Shanghai person, I can tell you that’s not even close to “authentic” shanghai food. The reason it’s always lining up is because the lady at front was soooo slow and she chatted with people and really messy and not organized (she messed up my order too). Won’t come back again.
