Emporte-moi — Restaurant in Roberval

We must have gone on an off night despite its’ being a Saturday. We were alone on the terrasse and got the impression it was out of sight, out of mind. Any time we wanted something (silverware, a menu, the food we ordered, etc.), we had to go inside to the bar and wait. We got a table d’hôte but we sat an hour without any food, then got the soup maybe three minutes before the main course and the appetizer had been forgotten and arrived after the meal. The food wasn’t good, and then when we tried to pay, the card machine wasn’t working and they wanted us to go take money out of a credit union atm with a $4 transaction fee plus the fact that we only have a credit card to withdraw with because that was supposed to be accepted. Definitely...

Contrary to the implication of its name ("Take-Away" in English), this restaurant is a nice sit-down place (ordering food for take-away is possible too). Nice staff, great food, various local choices and eclectic decor. Also one of the only restaurants opened on Monday night during the low-season...!...

A FUIR!!! Repas très décevant. Bien trop dispendieux pour ce que c'était. Les plats de poisson et de viande, il y a plus de salade qu'autre chose. La salade prend la moitié de l'assiette. Serveur extrêmement incompétent, il ne sait pas ce qu'il y a dans les plats: une pizza présentée comme une pizza avec sauce tomate, ce n'est pas la même chose qu'une pizza sauce tomate et tranche de salami. Il nous a servi le mauvais alcool, quand on lui fait remarquer, il ne s'excuse pas, nous le facture quand même. En cette période de pandémie, il renifle et tousse a 30 cm de nos têtes avec son masque sous son nez. Nous avons pu apercevoir les cuisiniers avec la visière mis comme une casquette. Malgré tout ça, nous avons donné 10 % de tips mais ce serveur n'attends pas que nous soyons sorti du restaurant pour faire remarqué a sa collègue (qui elle portait très bien le masque) que nous n'avions pas...
