The reservation we made wasn't recorded but they got us a table. Table was by a beam so we moved to another one which was much better. We ordered 3 appetizers and a main each. The apps were wonton nachos, bacon wrapped Buffalo chicken stuffed jalapeño poppers, and spicy shrimp. The food looked amazing and tasted amazing but the portions were a little underwhelming, especially the shrimp. 6 shrimp with sauce for $18 seems a little steep but, as I said, the flavor was fantastic. The apps took long to come out as the had originally burned our nachos and the ones we received seem to be overcooked still. It also had a lot of pulled pork and toppings under the wontons so it was basically half and half toppings to wontons. We both ordered burgers, i got the Pierogi burger and she got the Geraldine Hot Honey Southern Fried Chicken burger. They both cane with fries and spicy ketchup which was awesome, really enjoyed the spicy ketchup. My Pierogi burger was pretty good, burger patty was a little overcooked but still juicy and well seasoned. Her burger was a little less impressive. It came with coleslaw which was large chunks of cabbage which had a bitter taste. The batter on the chicken wasn't that good either but the sauce was the best part, she didn't even finish half of it due to the coleslaw tasting so bad. Hers meal was 24 and mine was 23. Overall, the food was fairly good but the apps pricing was a turn off. Don't think we'll be returning but it is worth a try.

I need to revise my rating. Several months ago I had a great experience. This morning less so. I sat on the patio full of optimism for my brunch, hopefully a repeat experience since last time. I was left unattended for about 15 min, then once I ordered it was another 37min to get my breakfast. I felt unattended to at the back of the patio and it was almost an hour before I received my food. This time the experience did not leave me with the same satisfaction as previously. Previous review - “superb eggs Benedict, generous portion of ham, medium eggs served hot, real hollandaise made with butter. Customer service was exceptional also. Ill be back.”

First visit was on the recommendation of a colleague. Loved the atmosphere - and the fish and chips! Brought more colleagues to try it and they loved it too. Lots of interesting options on the menu. The second time I had the duck burger and it was fantastic. Update: I've been back twice in the last month and had the pleasure of meeting Shane, the owner. Classic Newfoundland hospitality! If the bread pudding is available when you visit, be sure to try it - absolutely incredible. The cod burger and scallops are also amazing - so much flavour in Every. Single. Bite.

The atmosphere was great and serving staff super friendly. The food was absolutely amazing. I started with the calamari which was simple and great. Light and crispy coating with the right amount of salt and pepper. I had the fried mozzarella small plate as a main dish and it was perfection. The flavours were well balanced and it was just the right amount of food. I finished the meal with a country peach tea and slice of chocolate espresso pie. Fantastic. I can't wait to come back and try more great things from this restaurant!
