Update Nov, 2022 * *- I feel like the food quality is getting worse everytime. At first I though it was just 1 particular order but it's 3rd time in a row that the naan is so dry and undercooked, I'd rather eat the dough. The sambar was just water, no flavour, not even salt. Idlis were undercooked. Butter chicken did not taste fresh and was so bland. It no longer has that unique taste. And the wait times were crazy. I would rather have them tell me it's going to take an hour instead of saying 30 mins and then making me wait for 30-45 mins after I showed up.
June 2022 * * * * *- I had been craving the Delhi style (not so sweet but a little spicy) butter chicken for so long. This was it. The best butter chicken I have had since I moved to Canada. The naans were perfectly thin and crispy. They could have ysed a little bit more butter but other than that the meal was perfect. The portion size was great! Service was very professional and quick. I am definitely tempted to try more items...
Read moreOrdered through uber eats. Very bad experience. Don't fall for their buy one get one promo. See the quantity in pictures. Stop making fool of people, if you wanna give this much quality because its buy one get one, don't give the promotion. Keep the original price.
Food was way too spicy 🌶️, there was no option to choose the spice level on uber.
Come on don't say if this is genuine review, you know it very well. It is not for the first time I have ordered, box used to be full more than enough for even 2 persons. I used to walk in to order, this time I saw this deal and thought quantity will be same although it is half price.
If you guys are really doing well with food why you got 3.8 rating?
I am not seeking and refund or any complimentary item here, you should acknowledge of what was done and it should not happen next time to anyone.
My honest recommendation would be don't order from them, and don't fall...
Read moreDon’t get me wrong, it was very good, but it is NOT the same as Banjara Bloor or Eglinton. The recipes are entirely different. We always order the same few items from original Banjara: lamb madras, chilli paneer, mattar paneer, and dal makhani. The paneer dishes were prepared in completely different fashion (if you love the chilli paneer at original location, this one won’t make the cut.) The employee there was very friendly, kind, and accommodating (they don’t have madras on the menu but he asked the chef to prepare it for us madras style), and we will likely visit again as it is good, just not AS good as other Banjara locations. The employee did confirm it’s the same owners as other locations, but i wonder if they licensed out the name possibly?
Go to Banjara danforth because it’s tasty, but don’t go if you are hoping for the Banjara...
