This food here is great and I really enjoy coming here, my only advise is too not get the food delivered. I ordered for the first time through the Just Eat app and expected to get the same great service that I've gotten from other delivery places. Yeah not only was my order 30 minutes late, but the food was lukewarm at best. I'm hoping this delivery fiasco was a fluke and hopefully if I do order again through an app, it goes better, or I may have to change my review.

EDIT: Had to take down one star for the fact that the staff here are a bunch of lazy asses who love to close early with no posted reason as to why. Placed an order today (7/14/18) through their app, and arrived to find the location closed. Going to show up tomorrow and see if they're going to acknowledge my order and give me a refund, or offer me some type of rain check to have this reissued at another time. If they don't, then expect them to lose another star.

EDIT (7/22/18): As per above edit, I did arrive the next day to get my order that I placed and their excuse was that on Saturdays if they find it's not too busy, they'll close up early (anywhere after 10 pm). Now in my mind that's not good customer service and they should include this on there store sign so the public is aware and they don't show up like me to find the store unexpectedly closed. They shouldn't even being closing early if you ask me and just tough it out until the usual midnight closing that's listed for Saturday. I've worked for various places and they've NEVER closed early when it's been dead and no customers have come through. They really need to get their act together if they expect to...

The food was great, but TERRIBLE service. I ordered a veggie burger combo and veggie poutine. The meal came to $17.65. I know Hero's is expensive, but I thought this was extra. I asked for the receipt and saw that the cashier charged me for a spicy veggie burger which is $3 more. I told him, and he responded: well you didn't tell me your toppings so I assumed you wanted the spicy burger. I said excuse me? When did I say spicy? He said well you're the customer so you should be the one telling me your toppings. I responded again, I never asked for the spicy burger. I have ordered from Hero's maybe once before. I wasn't aware of the process. With that being said, if I order a burger the cashier should ask what toppings I want on it, not assume I want a spicy version at $3 more without asking. Never did the cashier say sorry. He simply responded what do you want - as in my order. I repeated the same thing I did the first time, and he changed the order. They refunded me $3. I'm sure the difference in cost was more because he calculated by looking at the board to do the math, and not punching anything in. I didn't want to push this further, so I left a review instead. I barely leave reviews, but this was upsetting. I hope the owner sees this post, or the chain does. Customer service really is that important, go figure.
