This place is bad. They did have some good things but in the end it was bad with the automatic tip gratuity they did for them selves I would have not tipped 17 percent. They didn't deserve it at all. It's supposed to be all you can eat for, but they don't mean that. Until they think you have had enough is all you can eat. I didn't eat all day cuz I knew I was going to go to this place. I'll get to it now, so the only good thing on the menu that I ordered, was the water. When you go to Korean BBQ you think Wow, Good, Yummy. This place was a big let down for me everything was bland, everything was even there soy sauce was bland it was like they added water to it. I used a hole bottle of it and it still wasn't good it made it better but not good. I had to make my own dipping sauce for the food they didn't have any of those sauces that you would expect at a good Korean BBQ place. There kimchi!!!! Was Horrible, kimchi is supposed to be spicy and tiny sweetness to it and savory and not this place, very sweet for kimchi no kick at all I had to add chilly sauce to it to make it decent-ish. The meat was okay not bad there selection was lacking in flavor they had there own sauce of some of the meat but in the pork belly no bbq sauce, the chicken was okay, there short ribs we're pretty good. The beef was okay, but not enough choices not enough sauces nothing was spicy, shrimp smelled a little fishy, the squid was good though. There side dishes were meh again very bland. They didn't have the usual radish paper to make a Korean taco with, that was the biggest let down actually. That's a staple in Korean BBQ it was the smallest detail but made it the most memorable, from all the Korean BBQ places Ive been too. The most annoying thing though was that, there menu and they way you had to order, was a great idea a lot of places use it this way, with the table number there and it being easy to order stuff. But it did not work with my phone well. It would close when the screen turned off and I had to re open it every time I wanted to order again. It was a nuisance. Great idea they need to work on that or just continue to have the personal touch of a waiter come by and ask about what they need, that would have been great if they did that too but at one point they didn't come check on us for a bit they had thought me and my wife had enough. Which was very disrespectful and disappointing. There grill was nice, tables were nice, the best thing about it was there stackable serving plates were good really made it easy to save space for sides and stuff. Atmosphere was good, good light, good colors that was fine. This place has potential they need to rework some stuff to be better right now they do not deserve there rating with there food, there service that automated tip they take for them selves, not good at all. This place deserves a 2 star rating now, but they can get better they have potential. I will not be going back to place again, for awhile until they clean up there act! Me and my wife left very dissatisfied with the food, lack of flavor, over priced for what they offer, again not all you can eat, just until they think you had enough. FYI all you can eat means all you can eat, most good Korean BBQ put a time limit on food there cuz they know you can eat a lot 2 hours they put, and if you don't want them to order so much at one time, put in place like 3 portion limit at a time and three sides at a time or something make it better. This place can be better, be better, there website says they are the best around it that part of Toronto, they need to change that or change there service, flavor profile, and ordering service. I hope this place improves that and...
Read moreKorean Grill House is a good spot for a last minute date. The atmosphere and staff were welcoming and attentive. If it's just for two, no booking is required. It is a perfect place for those who are tying Korean BBQ for the first time.
The staff were friendly and always accommodating. The service was fast, there was minimal wait for the food. A bonus was that the staff offered the table a limited time beef tenderloin, which was really good!
The food was delicious, we went with the all-you-can-eat menu ($36/person, holiday price). There were a variety of options including some that were vegetarian friendly. The meats that we ordered were beef, beef ribs, chicken, squid, salmon, fish fillets, pork belly, and lamb. We ordered rice as our side and also ordered mushrooms, onions, and pineapple. The chicken breast and chicken wings were part of the limited time menu but included with the all-you-can-eat. Every dish comes well seasoned and marinated, all you need to worry about is cooking it as you'd like. The meats are thin but still filling.
The drinks however.. are a little pricey. We ordered the Long Island Iced Tea and the Lemon Drop. Both drinks had an overpowering taste of alcohol which made it hard to enjoy. Which was a little disappointing as one cocktail was $10.99. Also.. the Korean Soju is $21.00 for a 369ml bottle.
However, Korean Grill House is in an excellent spot that is easily accessible with TTC. There is also a Green P parking garage located across the street and plenty of street parking.
Overall, we enjoyed the experience offered by Korean Grill House and will definitely visit once more.

Read moreI was looking for a good quality korean BBQ but the good ones are not actually "all-you-can-eat" so I was willing to try this place which offers a "all-you-can-eat" for 35$ knowing it wouldn't be the best but was still willing to try it. Atmosphere: The clientele was very non-asian so it tells you something. Also, by default you eat with a fork unless you ask for chopsticks. The music is also non-existent so the vibe is not the best for drinking.
Food: Decent. Some meat like the chicken or the beef was well marinated. But the pork belly is just plain fat and the ribs were chewy. There's a variety of meat/vegetables/pickle you can choose from but for a price of 35$/per person, I'm used to other places that also offers sushi/raw fish. The kimchi was on the sweeter side but still good. The sprout pickles or the tofu was not tasty. Also, you can't control the heat so it cooks strongly but this wasn't an issue for us, the food was well grilled. You only get 1 mango ice cream for desert (no refill) which is pretty sad.
Service: I ordered soju and one of the cups had a grain of rice stuck on it (it was dirty). Service is quick, but when you're done grilling stuff, they come and pick up whatever is left on your table (i was still eating some meat and my kimchi with rice) but they kept coming every minute to pick up plates, asking if we wanted desert so I just gave up my food. There were many empty tables and we were still working on our drinks so I don't understand what was the rush. The servers were nice though
Also Note that TIP IS ALREADY ON THE BILL TOTAL.
Overall, if it's your first time eating at a korean bbq it's not bad, but personally I...
