Moxies Yorkdale Mall Restaurant — Restaurant in Toronto

My experience today at the Moxies yorkdale restaurant was truly beyond exceptional.

I was greeted very nicely, kindly,warmly and professionally by my server, Jeremy, just by his demeanour alone , I could already tell I was in for some good service as well as a laugh or too, which is what I got plus more.

Jeremy inquired about my day, how everything was going, which was all very nice of him, the service to start off he inquired about any drink I would like both alcoholic and non alcoholic and advising the specials drinks they had one of them being a 'Lavender lemonade' which sounded lovely but ultimately, I chose a regular lemonade to which he inquired if i'd liked it a certain way. Which was nice to be asked.

Also, Jeremy asked if I was ready to order yet, but I informed him that I was not ready. He kindly stated that would not be a problem giving me as much time as I needed. After coming back with my order of my lemonade.

There was also a moment which I found very nice Jeremy had noticed, I did not partake much into my lemonade and inquired if it was alright. I told him that it did not taste as sweet as I assumed the lemonade should be. He informed me that he would look into that. It potentially is the syrup being low and needs to be replaced.

He let me know could bring me a simple syrup. mixture, which I can add to my drink. To make it a fair bit sweeter, which I appreciated and informed him, that would be great.

After waiting about 5 minutes, notably, he was very busy with other tables, which I didn't mind at all. He was doing a very great job at moving very fast between the 3 other tables he was assigned to. Jeremy came back with a small amount of simple syrup and apologised for the long wait. letting me know that the syrup was low and he had to get it changed and let me know ifwould like to get a new lemonade. He could take care of that from me. Which was nice of him, but let him know that would not be an issue. I could still deal with this syrup. Which did improve the taste of the lemonade immensely.

After that I receive my salad Jeremy was up and down between the other tables but still checking in with me making sure that I was okay if this lemonade was fine, if the salad, was fine and just doing a generally good job on checking him on his customers.

Soon after, I decided to order something else and talk with Jeremy again. I let him know I wanted some ribs, but I didn't want a larger amount and some specific sides, which He gave a great recommendation about a smaller amount with some side that ultimately were quite delicious.

Once again, upon the completion of that meal, I decided to get a dessert and just before that. Jeremy again was checking in with me to ensure that all was fine with me. The meal was alright and everything was going well. I let him know that everything was going well. And he was doing an exceptional job with his checking in.

At that point, he brought in the dessert menu and gave me time again to look there and see if there was anything that I particularly liked, which ultimately I did choose something Jeremy got the order taken, placed and served to him all in a tiimely manner while still maintaining solid speedy service to his other customers as well.

After I was finally done, Jeremy came back and checked again if I was alright and how my meal was from, which I told him. It was good, always great, and I would like to get the bill now. To which he got that ready for me again in a very timely manner.

Just before paying, he gave me the loveliest compliment on ourfit, which I found was very nice of him to do.

Afterwards,Jeremy wished me a very lovely rest of my day and hope all went well with it. I have never received such a service and can wholeheartedly say that jeremy is one fantastic server. He presents himself in any professional manner, knows how to work accordingly between serving guests, and will be able to bring smiles to their faces. Fantastic job, Jeremy. July 26th, 2025, I went there with my co-workers to just have a nice relaxing afternoon on a really hot day. In case you didn't know, it was about 30°C and extremely humid.

As I approached the reception upstairs, I could not hear anything the noise was overwhelming. I literally told the young lady there I can't hear you so she had to almost scream into my ear over the music, she was lovely. She called downstairs and let them know that I am arriving.

I was ushered politely to the table I had reserved ahead of time. It was very hot in the restaurant, and we were seated right behind the kitchen. Our server was very polite , however , not extremely enthusiastic. Some of the food was placed in front of the incorrect person, so things had to be switched. My food was not bad. However, not extremely impressive for the money I've paid for it. Although the burger was absolutely delicious, the French fries were not the greatest. I have supplied a picture so you can see the first fry that I saw in my portion. The dessert I have ordered was the mocha ice cream cake, I wanted to compare it against the kegs Billy minor let me tell you although it was good, it doesn't hold a candle to the Billy minor sorry but I remain a forever loyal Billy minor keg customer and fan.

This was the last time I will ever go to this location.

The fact that there was no air conditioning, the music was blaring it was so loud it hurt my ears and we had to scream so we could hear each other.

We were 6 people, and the voices from the rest of the restaurant were drowning us out.It was too much. I tried my best to be generous with my review where I could. However, this is the very last time I will ever enter your premises.

I was there again with friends, our server was a sweetheart however the Honey Garlic wings where not as expected. For 1 they had cinnamon.... what does that have to do with Honey Garlic wings??? I expected nice sweet and sticky Honey Garlic sauce what came was fried wings there was some garlic since my burping tasted like garlic and there was cinnamon that I'm sorry but doesn't belong on Honey Garlic wings. But that's my humble opinion. I guess you change management or the cook or both, twice I went and twice I was disappointed. Sorry but not coming back again.

Ps: wasn't my choice to come as per my first review 4 years ago when it was my choice and was disappointed.

................................................................ We went in thinking we're going to have a wonderful lunch my friend and I decided on the honey garlic wings.

Unfortunately we're appalled they have no wings we were not advised upon sitting down that an item on the menu it was not available.

And when we said we're only going to pay for the drink and leave the waitress was very chipper and happy to hear that never mind of a drink took almost 10 minutes to arrive.

Needless to say I will never be going to Moxie's in Yorkdale...

Went there with my family after talking the kids out. It's was 9 30pm and when we got there we realized they were closing at 10 pm. They did seat us, and they got a bit of a rush after we sat down. I am not sure if that was the reason behind the horrible experience. We were a party of 5ppl. 3 kids and 2 adults. The kids order kids' meals, pasta, and 2 cheeseburgers with bacon and all the topping of a regular burger. I ordered a Cajun Chicken Sandwich, and my husband ordered a full rack of lamb. We also ordered 2 calamari and avocado dip to start Let's start with the food. It was absolutely disgusting. The kids pasta came out stucked to the plate and all stucked together, barely any sauce and you could tell it was sitting there for a while, both cheese burgers were made incorrectly and when we sent back the worst one my 8 year didn't get his food back until everyone had almost there food. He said it tasted really bad and forced ate half. The other kids burger took them about 5 mins to bring out the missing mayo. The kids' meal came with a dessert, which the kids weren't offered at all. The Cajun Sandwich was greasy, soggy, and extremely salty. My husband rib was dry, but he was starving, so he ate it. The service, while it was totally non existent I could some what understand due to the crowd that came in after us but this disposition of our service was as if she didn't want to be there anymore and it showed we didn't even catch her name and she wrote nothing down. The reason why they got a 4 was because of the supervisor Donte. He was absolutely amazing and very remorseful about our experience and tried to make it right after I brought it to his attention.
