Angelina's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Welland

I recently had the misfortune of trying the pizza from this local place, and I can't express how disappointed I am. It was an absolute disaster from start to finish.

First of all, the service was incredibly slow. I waited for what felt like an eternity just to place my order, and when it finally arrived, the pizza was cold and soggy. It seemed like they'd made it well in advance and just reheated it in a microwave. The toppings were sparse and tasteless as if they'd used the cheapest, lowest-quality ingredients available.

The crust, if you could even call it that, was like cardboard. It had no flavor, and I could barely chew through it. It left a terrible aftertaste in my mouth that lasted for hours.

To make matters worse, the prices were outrageous for the abysmal quality of the pizza. I've had better pizza from the frozen food section at a grocery store, and it certainly didn't cost as much as this disappointment.

The whole experience was a complete waste of time and money. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. If you're looking for a decent pizza, look elsewhere; this place is a culinary nightmare.

I ordered in-store. Your response doesn't come as a surprise considering the sea of poor online reviews your pizzeria seems to be swimming in. It's clear that your establishment has truly mastered the art of delivering subpar service, and the way you address customer feedback reflects that 'we-don't-care' attitude. Next time, I'll think twice before wasting any more of my time or money on your less-than-impressive pizza. I'm sure 'No Frills' frozen pizza won't disappoint me half as much as your establishment did. Thank you for the rather condescending reply. Easily the worst pizza I've had in the Niagara area, with lots of good alternative places to buy your pizza, this business should be thinking about how to improve it the new owners want to stay in business.

Gotten subs from here twice. They were pretty good but inconsistent and not without criticism:

First time ordering I used the dine local service, which was recommended by the business. Ordering a sub made the order time for 55 minutes into the future, mandatory choice, despite the business not being busy whatsoever. I selected bacon on my sub which is not even a thing they actually have or do.

The second time I bought a sub, the gentleman who took my order was extremely confused at my request for a "12 inch" sub, I had to demonstrate with my hands that I wanted a large sub.

I then watched him use the absolutely filthy touchscreen square POS to input my order. And then proceed to make my sandwich without gloves or handwashing, touching all of the meats, containers and lids, and fresh ingredients with the same bare hands. In the food industry this is known as "cross contamination" and obviously frowned upon by the health board, as would be the rest of the very dirty interior of the restaurant.

Oddly enough when he got to the lettuce portion he minced the lettuce into a pulp and spread it on the sub.

So that's my review, I think I am done buying food from here, unless the business owners can make some serious changes to their restaurant and hire/train...

Ordered through skip the dish they took three and a half hours to deliver it I contacted the pizzeria and for some reason after seeing it was supposed to be delivered for over an hour on the app. iPhone them and they told me that it would be on its way. Then after an hour they told me that it's for some reason I'm supposed to pick it up even though I ordered it through a delivery service. The pizza was absolutely horrible when we got it dry cold wings were wet and soggy. I tried to get some type of compensation through skip the dish they refused I talked to the store they said they would compensate us and then when I talked to them this morning they just refused saying it was on skip the dishes and and had nothing to do with the horrible way that I received the pizza now this was a $100 order I will never buy from them again and I recommend you don't either they don't deserve...
