bought a takeaway traditional "basin feast" for the CNY and good to have 4-person portion. it's well packed and secure for transporting back home without any spillage. a visual gem on unpacking. came with a metal basin for direct reheating over the stove. on the top were premium ingredients like abalones, prawns, preserved oysters, scallops, chicken, roasted duck. they made sure there were 4 pieces of each in a 4-person portion. below it lied "fish belly", hakka-style pork, pork knuckles, vegetables, radish, beancurd sheets, taro cubes. the soup base was a tad too salty but still matched very well with all the ingredients. a sumptuous feast and overall very satisfying experience.

富東閣酒家 is a traditional Chinese style restaurant. This is a restaurant which help Hong Kong been through lots of hard times, the boss is very conscious. Their foods and DimSum are delicious, I love their Steamed BBQ Pork Bun（ 叉燒包）the most because I love to eat BBQ Pork so much. Their Steamed BBQ Pork Bun has lots of pork inside, and it tastes so great and mouth-watering. We have ordered different DimSum and they all tasts so delicious. The dumplings also taste so good. This traditional restaurant does worth you to come here and try, it's a local Hong Kong restaurant.

Hidden in an old housing estate in Shatin, full of customers, but queue for Sunday lunch is still fine, just 5-10 min and got the table for lunch. Price is good. CP value high. Place and utensils clean and nice. There are special dishes with very attractive food, and price only HKD10 ! So this Chinese dim sum and dishes restaurant is worth a try for tourists who like exploring local living.
