Gasoline Grill Købmagergade — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Usually I like Gasoline, but on this visit something was completely off. Went to try their breakfast, got there at 9 with 2 other orders in front of us. It took 40 minutes (!) for our fairly regular order to arrive. That is just way too long. The breakfast plate was pretty dull: most items were rubbery and overcooked. The bun with cheese was ok, except the slices of cheese were so thick that you could barely chew through the hard edges. The one good thing was pancakes: they tasted great! Finally tried this Copenhagen must and I was not disappointed. It’s pricey, but not too much considering what you can get for about 20€ in this city. Especially because it’s really worth it! I get the classic Cheeseburger combo with fries and drink. I think this was one of the best burgers I’ve ever tasted in my life, there’s nothing much to add. I compared the Butterburger to the Cheeseburger at Popl and I think they are really different but similar at the same time. Here at Gasoline grill you get a smashed, flavourfull patty with crispy edges and I really like that. However at Popl the patty is more thick. I personally like both styles of burgers but at Gasoline grill, the fries and sauces(especially the gasoline sauce and spicy mayo) are better than at Popl( I think 😂).
