Café Kosmos — Restaurant in Odense Kommune

Really disrespectful service, was massively disappointed. We had a coupon for free potatoes from a calendar that we PAID FOR and I’ve tried to use it TWO times before the expiration date and the first time they said I should’ve called ahead because it will take 40 minutes to make potatoes and now I did call ahead at 19.15 and their website says they close 21.00. The employee said that the kitchen is closed because they close early today because everyone is leaving? Why is that on me then? I said sure, that’s fine as long as I can use my coupon tomorrow, in which I was denied. 0 flexibility for something that was their fault. I said that I tried to come 2 days ago and wasn’t able to get them then and that now that it’s happened twice I think it is unfair and that they are being unreasonable and she said that I had “2 months to cash in the coupon so that’s on me”. Not considering that I could’ve been out of town much of the months or that there’s like 10 other coupons you have to use within 2 months. Completely unfair, bad attitude, 0 flexibility. I must say, your restaurant wouldn’t last a day in the US with this poor quality customer service. Your food can be as good as all, which I wouldn’t know since you won’t give it to me, but with bad customer service, that will be the thing turning people away. Well, I'm not personally a " "organic" keenie as I have been dissappointed so often. BUT this lovely little café changed my outlook! Autumn Stew with real homemade sourdough and a creamy herb butter (not dairy of course) was superb. Family had the burgers, and again, I'm not a bean fan, but these were delicious and made with love with the right mix of flavours and not heavy and "healthy" tasting if you get my drift. We had herbal teas and the best hot chocolate in the universe. Then we fell for the Snickers cake, which isn't dairy of course!!. Home-made from scratch by the very talented Barbara who made us welcome and could not have been a better host. From miserable cold and wet customers to ones who have been completely "hygged" I now get it!! I Love hygge!! And well done to Kosmos. We are now tasting the organic beers. . We might...

We ordered the vegan Christmas menu and a lunch for my sister. When we got there they said they burnt the ris á la mande (rice dessert) so we couldn’t get it. Did we get money back for it? No. When we got home and we were gonna eat lunch, we looked in the bag and there was no lunch. They forgot to pack it. So we had to drive back to the restaurant to get it:/ This is the worst part. The food was overall not pleasant to eat, and wasn’t tasteful. After the dinner my sister threw up and got a very bad stomachache and had to lay down for the rest of the evening.
