The Magic Bean Restaurante, República del Salvador, Quito — Restaurant in Iñaquito

Really nice place, has a great menu (variety in choices) and the prices are reasonable within the quality and quantity of the food. Definitely a must go if you are missing that U.S. style breakfast. My only concern is that when we wanted to leave the tip in credit card the server told us that the tip on credit cards are not given to servers :/ don't know if is true or not, apart from that, everything was great.

Service was great.. atmosphere was cute and inviting. Food "looked" delicious, however, it was not good. We ordered a waffle and pancakes and scrambled eggs. The waffle and the pancakes were cold and dry. They taste like they had been made up hours before they were served. Which makes no sense because they only takes 3 minutes to cook. Also, the eggs were gooey and liquidy from not being cooked. It was really frustrating because based on the presentation I was expecting it to taste delicious. We really had high hopes for this place. The photos of the food looked delicious and the restaurant has a great ambience. However, the portion sizes were very small, the quality was below average, and the prices are high for the low quality.

I ordered the ribeye steak. The flavor was amazing, however I did not have one single bite that was not tough as shoe leather and with gristle throughout it. It is much smaller than in the photo.
