Vinni Cafe & Deli — Restaurant in Giza

I took my fiancée there on Valentine's day and the waiter asked me to change the way I sit next to her because "it was drawing attention because the people in the street can see us". I was putting my arm on her shoulder!!! It was a really annoying and weird request to ask. I have never ever been requested by a restaurant or a café waiter to change the way I sit. However, I let it go so that I won't ruin the day.

Regardless, I really liked the vibes of the place on my last visit last weekend. We were served by a very friendly and warm waiteress called Shaimaa. The place is naturally well-lit and perfect for casual bites. It is rather affordable compared to other restaurants. Very good quality of food guaranteed. However, drinks are not as good. Food was good, but we had to wait over 90 mins for our breakfast to be served! They didn't even apologize when we asked why it's taking them so long to serve our order.

People came after us, ordered, ate and left while we are still waiting.

Finally after eating and asking for the check, found out that they are charging us for water that we didn't ask for and wasn't even ordered!

My family and I came to Vinny for breakfast on a quiet Friday morning. The place was pretty empty, so the staff was super attentive to us. I ordered their Special Breakfast (Shown in the pictures), and it was simply delicious. The way they presented the food, and the variety they offered was exactly what I was looking for.

I’m not a resident of Dokki, but I would definitely come here again just for how good the food is.
