MrBigBali — Restaurant in Bordeaux

I ordered nasi goreng chicken. As an Indonesian myself, I want to give little feedback that maybe can be very useful in the future :) the nasi goreng taste has no problem, but need lot improvement, the texture is too wet to be Indonesian nasi goreng that usually use "nasi pera" Like a dry rice, the chicken is a lot nasi goreng which I appreciate but can be chopped smaller and nicely instead of big chunks, also the presentation can be better with the sunny side-up eggs or omelette, with the pickles and cucumber, salad, and tomato like in Indonesia. The food quickly served. The restaurant is small but nice decoration. The hospitality of staff have no problem but can be friendlier and have warm greetings :) but i understand maybe the staff tired and busy because I saw she handled all alone from cooking, cashier, and...

Unfortunately, despite being in the same order, the rice of my partner was so under-cooked that it was inedible. Also the rendang isn't a rendang at all, it's far too wet (not even kalio-stage) and has no flavor from chili, lemongrass, galengal, turmeric or makrut lime or any of the other flavorings that make a classic rendang. Drowning everything in kecap manis, which does not go with rendang, did not help though I guess it's an edible semi-South East Asian-inspired beef dish (if the rice is cooked properly). Finally Indonesian don't eat with chopsticks so it was very strange to receive chopsticks...

As an Indonesian, I can say that the Nasi Goreng in Mr.BigBali Bordeaux has authentique taste. The Sate Ayam also delicious. Here you get good portion with reasonable price. But if you come with a baby, it's better to bring baby carrier instead of stroller, because the place...
