Buffalo Grill Brive-la-Gaillarde — Restaurant in Brive-la-Gaillarde

As we do not speak French we looked up the menu on the internet and made our choices beforehand. When we arrived the menu was completely different and then it appeared we could not have our choices (i.e. chicken) as it was only offered as part of a set meal. We ended up ordering burgers which we wanted well done but they arrived pink inside. The burgers were between cakes made of grated potato, some of which was still raw. The salad it came with was just tough lettuce and there were different sauces on this and in the burger. We are on a budget and paid twice for this than what we had decided upon before going in. At these prices it is reasonable to expect the menu to be multi-lingual. All very disappointing, especially as this was to be a birthday treat while...

We had a sear for 2, between the entrance to the kitchen and the entrance to the bathroom. This place should deleted. There are smells from the kitchen and even worse smells from the toilette. The wall beside the table was dirty, same as the seats and the bottle of water they served. We had a salad and entrecote, the salad was okay, not a good dressing but eatable. The meat was... not what i expected for a "steak house". The quality of the meat was bad, i guess the kitchen did the best they could, but the quality of the meat was aweful. The plate on wich the salad was solved was faulty aswell.

On a attendu 10min devant la porte sans même que personne nous remarque, on a fini par nous installer. Attention de bien attacher vos chaussures le sol colle devant le bar... Nous avons ensuite attendu 15min avant que le serveur vienne prendre notre commande. 20 min plus tard notre apéritif et la boisson de nos menu arrivent en même temps. Nous n'avons pas eu le droit au pop corn pour l'apéro mais à la place nos plats, nous avons donc du prendre notre apéritif avec notre plat. Nous avons aussi eu le droit à la carafe d'eau de la table voisine... Le burger était froid, le cheddar n'avait même fondu, les rondelles d'oignon faisait 4cm d'épaisseur et je pense que la sauce bernaise n'était pas du jour il y avait une belle croûte sèche déçu. Nous avons ensuite attendu encore 20 bonnes minutes pour avoir notre dessert. Quand les clients ce plaigne le serveur à toujours réponse à tous même quand on ce plein que c'est trop long la réponse est tellement évidente "je fais ce que je peux, on est samedi" dites de façon très agacé....

Bref ce restaurant ne vaut pas le détour, j'aurai du regarder les commantaires avant. Je vais répète ce qui est déjà dis, temps d'attente trop long, personnel pas compétent et désagréable... En fait ils en on rien à faire de proposer un mauvais service puisqu'ils ont toujours la clientèle grâce à au nom.

Et éviter les toilettes, c'est très sale, je pense que c'est representative du restaurant en general, même si les cuisines sont caché par une affiche vous arrivez à entre voir sur le côté du bar et c'est pas cline d'où l'affiche...
