L' atelier Gourmand — Restaurant in Laon

Not sure where to start. No one of the staff is concretely stationed to receive orders so you are left to wonder who you can call the attention of. When i managed to catch the attention of one, he proceeded to pretend to ignore me and went about his business. I've been a couple of times since it's the closest bakery near my class. and it's even worse during lunch time. There's no system whatsoever with queueing, the place is packed and there's no way to know if it's your turn to order or not

The place is cramped, and there seems to be a problem with the exhaust. The smell tends to stick to the clothes you wear especially during lunchtime service.

There's only one table to seat a group of 2-3. So make sure you only go there for take-out.

One time, I wanted to order an ice cream which they proceeded to tell me that the machines is not working so i couldnt. A week after i asked to buy one again and it was still not operational.

The staff were unattentive and a bit rude.

All the pastries are way too sweet. The brownie i ordered looked more like a chunk of chocolate bar than an actual pastry. Not to mention that it is also way to greasy! It even seeps through the packaging so be sure to wrap it with something before putting it in your coat or bag

après plusieurs passages c'est définitivement devenu mon restaurant favoris, les américain sont excellents, avec frites maisons ainsi qu'une viande hachée de qualité, le personnel est très agréable. Sans parler du rapport qualité prix exceptionnel. Je reviendrais très rapidement pour m'essayer aux pizzas et aux pains gourmands qui m'ont l'air très appétissant. Merci à ce genre de restaurant d'exister pour le plaisir de nos papilles...
